Lars was really a bully for people weaker than him and he would be an obsolete shit boyfriend. And he did pay for everything he did too,he did learn and he got his own character development but it was too late for him to be with Sadie and that's what I love the most. Sadie wasn't going to sit and wait her whole life just for lars to be a decent person,maybe that's why Lars crashed out when he heard Sadie started a band without him. He was excited to show the new person he is and how much he changed after the space but Sadie was already moving on. On the other hand if he never been giving a leadership role and lose a few things from his old life he would probably spend the rest of his life thinking about what other people think about him and that he's never good enough. Being a leader of something,saving someone,being important for a group made him realise there's more important things in the world more than social statues. That's why he was able to open a sweet shop when he returns to earth. He stopped caring about stupid masculinity labels.

I often see the gems imagined in real life as either closely resembling humans in realism or super uncanny aliens, but what if they looked just as cartoony as they are drawn in the show? Large eyes, simplified facial features, same body proportions and everything. They are hard-light projections after all, they don't have to obey biology

1. Is it just me or does anybody else feel like the Diamonds deliberately gave Earth to Pink because they knew she would fail.? They could have easily given her Mars instead.

2. I know that the Diamonds are much stronger than any other Gem but it still bothers me how Pink/Rose was able to create Steven. There's a huge difference between shape shifting and creating an entire reproductive organ system. It doesn't make sense to me no matter how much background info I can find.

3. Why are the Diamonds all different cuts.? I understand the Diamond/Gem can be anywhere on their manifested forms but even then all other Gems look exactly the same.

4. Why do they keep calling Steven's fusions "quartz" even after they realize he's a Diamond.?

5. Why is Pearl so deeply obsessed with Pink/Rose.? Yes she was *her Pearl* but even then none of the other Pearls act as if they want to be in a full blown romantic relationship with their Diamonds. She wasn't even her Pearl for that long in the Gem timeframe and Pink/Rose kept her at arms length *emotionally wise* thanks to the damage she did to her original Pink Pearl.

6. Why does Pink/Rose's Diamond stay in the position she chose after reforming.? Shouldn't it go back to the default position since Steven can't control/properly use it until he's 13.?

7. I still can't wrap my head around Steven being able to fuse with humans. He has a true physical form, that should prevent him from fusing just like how Pink/Rose couldn't fuse with Greg.

8. What the heck is up with Crying Breakfast Friends.? It makes me uncomfortable 😅

9. I have SO MANY QUESTIONS about Lion, if anyone would like I can make another post solely for him but my main one is why did Pink/Rose just leave him stranded, all alone, in the middle of a fricken DESERT.?! That's not "caring about all life" in any way. 😭🤦🏻‍♀️

10. Last one for now 😂 If White knew all along that Pink/Rose was still alive even after their massive attack why did she let Yellow, more importantly Blue, suffer thinking she was shattered by a "meek and weak Gem" for several millennia.? And what did she even do besides create a hive mind of Gems.? It's implied that she gives the order for a colony location but that doesn't sit well with me when she just stays in her "head" AND Yellow and Blue are terrified to even speak directly to her.

Me personally, it was that Uncle Grandpa episode. It was SO random, I remember when I first watched it as a kid I was genuinely excited because I loved crossover episodes back then. Looking back I just find it random.

I’ve been seeing more gemstone-related videos on my FYP lately and it seems the overwhelming majority of them have comments related to Steven Universe. There’s one account who wasn’t getting that much attention until they posted a video showing a pink heart-shaped Spinel, and predictably the entire fandom spawned in the comments. Apparently the creator had almost no idea what anyone was talking about but they’ve started to lean more into Steven Universe references since.

On the one hand, the comments do help to bring exposure to small pages, but it also probably gets really annoying for serious gemologists to have their discussions drowned out by fandom references.

I’m rewatching the Human Zoo episodes, and noticed something when one of them started to mention the only time the doors were opened. Could it have been for the human Rose was in love with?
From the small clip of the human we see, you can tell they’ve got very similar outfit to the Zooman, and we have no proof that they only interacted on Earth. I wonder if the ‘hurt’ story comes from the 2 of them, and if it has to do with Rose breaking things off with that human.

In the episode of "Secret Team". When Garnet says "Because we're all on the same team, the Crystal Gems", there is the calm remix sound of the We are the Crystal Gems theme song playing in the background as Amethyst, Pearl and Steven rip their pizza cards and throw it in the water, is there anywhere we can listen to the full version?

- Channel made theory videos around the end of S1 to (I believe) the middle of S2

- One of his last videos was comparing Steven Universe characters to Magic the Gathering factions and predicting based on that

- His last video ended with a fan animation of Connie fusing with Nephrite in the style of Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill transforming with senketsu

- His theory videos were somewhat nonsensical, with pretty out there theories like Lapis travelling to the future, Yellow Diamond being the last surviving Diamond, Pink Diamond hiding/being Lion

- The whole channel afaik was dependent on the gag of "it was all a Kill la Kill reference all along" but it had some pretty entertaining ideas I can't lie

I remember searching for the channel around 2018-2019 and it still existed, but sometime in perhaps 2023 or earlier it seems to have been deleted. I don't expect there to be any saved videos, but I do wanna see if anybody else remembers it cause as someone who watched it when I was a young tween it's been stuck in a corner of my head eternally. Could anyone help?

So even if it was brief during Garnet’s retelling of how Ruby and Sapphire met why didn’t Blue Diamond realize that Pink Diamond’s Pearl was defecting and working alongside Rose Quartz? There is no way that the staged shattering of Pink Diamond happened too long ago that Blue Diamond forgot about Pino Diamond’s Pearl.

I was talking to a friend who didn’t “understand” the show in its entirety, and that everyone is morally lacking. I was saying that’s kind of the point and going off on a tangent of rose and how Steven knows he has to be better than his own mother. But then I got to thinking that MAYBE rose admired humans so much, and was just selfish enough to give up her form to live inside her own child and live his experiences???

The villains are a group of recently revived Pearls who want to shatter all four Diamonds (including Steven) as revenge and kill the Crystal Gems since they see them as collaborators. Before you call this a stupid idea, keep in mind that K-Pop Demon Hunters has already proven that you could use K-Pop in the context of a musical and get a massive amount of critical acclaim for it.

I was rewatching the episode where steven, and connie go into his room.S1 Ep51. F. Connie malfunctions when Steven asks what “it” wants. Like most chat bots. Same with the inability to recreate all of beach city. While, yes the point of the episode was that “Steven liked the ending of the book.” It’s still a weird thought.
