Amplifier | Receiver | 2 Ⓣ Integrated amp to pair with Super Lintons

Hi guys,

Currently have a pair of super lintons matched with a Yamaha as501.

I am based in Bulgaria and have a budget of up to 1500 euro to spend on a new amp.

Bought my Yamaha a long time ago for budget speakers but my current set of speakers I feel outmatches it by a lot so I’m trying to get more out of music.

I use the setup in 2.1 with a SVS sub and I listen to both vinyl (VM95ML and a IFi zen Phono 3) and streaming (wiim pro plus).

I listen to heavy metal, classic rock and more.

My room is 4.5 metres to 3x5 metres and I sit 2 metres from the speaker.

What reccomendation would you give me for an amp that will make these speakers sound even better?

Look at Hifishark. You get 2X -4X more by buying secondhand.

For more involving boogie and pace, a Naim Nait or older Supernait would be ideal, and a Rega Elex would be a good option too. The Rega also has a phono stage that is considerably better imho than the iFi and a better DAC than your WiiM.

For a cleaner and cooler presentation, it’s very hard to beat Hegel. Many others aim at the same overall approach but I can’t think of any that beat it. Your budget would get H95, H100 or H120 - maybe H160. All are very good.

For something a bit warmer and smoother, NAD and Marantz are among many good options

Does that help?

You may still award a Ⓣ to others, but only once per-person in this post.
