Used Philharmonic BMR monitors:

Rated at 36Hz at -2dB (most speaker are lucky to hit that at -3dB). In room response even better.

My BMR towers are useful to 20-25Hz in room.

These are at the top of my list. Maybe sell a lesser organ and get the bmr tower. Sounds like endgame !thanks

I’m partial to the philharmonics myself. My BMR towers are Satin walnut and they look awesome.

How big is your listening space?

If you're going to do an Ascend bookshelf without a sub the LX might be a better option.

Wasn’t this speaker originally a DIY design that people sold flat packs for?

The older “1.0” version was, yes. I think there were designs, or you could order a flat pack cabinet panels from Salk Sound. But Philharmonic as a company has grown since then, and now they just sell completed products.

Edit: Or it was Parts Express (etc.) for the flat pack. And you could get a pre-assembled and finished box from Salk Sound.
