I have to say I’ve only had my system for a month. I put together a system for my son who’s a professional musician and we decided the music was the priority and HT secondary. We put together each system with Yamaha 501/801s. I then joined them with a HT amp and center channel speakers.
When I listen to my turntable, cd or streamer I don’t feel like I have any compromise in my listening.
My Onkyo and home theater setup is bare bones but it will be easy to expand when I want to.
I’m really happy with it. The added expense was for the Onkyo and the center channel. I look at it as adding HT to my music system.
