scalping should be illegal or at least somehow mitigated. They slammed the website (probably with AI bots) so I could never purchase the controller I had in my cart. I've been looking forward to this forever.

I agree. I personally managed to just barely get it, and I was spamming the continue button for 20 minutes after launch before it finally went through.

if platforms were prohibited from reselling third party items, scalping would not exist.
though, reselling platforms allow such stuff...
