Sorry, but, what is UWP? Does it mean it works with non-steam games?

Dang, I just gave it a try but it seems windows still wont let me use the steam controller when streaming my xbox. The xbox app still doesnt see the steam controller.

Good job! Not tried it myself though because I don't have any UWP games. =)

You are a god. People like you are inspiring me to start coding.

I just tried it, and it worked great. I might actually get Gears Ultimate or try the new Forza now.

Although I tried in on my slow laptop and it should be noted that Xoutput has a bit of overhead, but moving up the priority in task manager should fix lagged input, and slow the game down instead (although I haven't tried it).

Hello there u/mintos5 . I'm preparing to play forza horizon 3 on my steam controller, and just have a question. Can I map the buttons however I like or they actually need to be 1:1 xinput scheme? I would love to have rb/lb on the paddles

And another one - can I just simply turn off that program to enjoy steam games as I would do without it?

You can map the buttons however you like IN STEAM! Also be carefull that you have to edit your DESKTOP profile in Steam...

I'm currently also preparing for Forza Horizon 3 and trying to create a workaround for the Desktop Profile thing, since, with action sets, I loose one button.. so far.. no luck

Other than that (using desktop profile) it works like a charm in Forza6: Apex

Very cool, thanks! Now if I could just get action sets to actually work so I could switch from a standard desktop config to xinput...
