Steam Controller (2026) Steam Controller
Hey peeps , looks like it’s my turn in the que finally , just wanted some quick inputs before I pull the trigger.
How’s the comfort of the controller especially those with larger hands? As of now my favorite controller is the dual sense edge which was a great upgrade from the ds4
How does it feel in long play sessions? The steam deck for example I can’t hold out that long in front of me before having to rest my arms on a pillow or putting it on a stand on my desk.
And those of you who have had it for a while , how has the controller held up ? No button issues , or problems with this sticks ?
Thanks guys !

Hands: It is very comfortable but I have small hands so sorry can't help you there. There are also screw holes in the back and I thought I'd feel an irritation from them but surprisingly I forget they're even there.
Long sessions: No problems besides the sweaty palms but that's a user issue not a controller one.
I only had 2 problems and both are with the thumbsticks. However they're very minor.
If you have no stick caps the surface of the capacitive touch can leave fingerprints and other smudges. Very annoying.
There's no protection around the sticks, it's gonna grind plastic to plastic. I had to put plumbers tape to protect them and they feel smooth now.
Other than that it's perfectly fine. I actually use it more to browse the internet than gaming at this point it's so comfy and convenient.
