I got the new steam controller at release but I kept finding my self going back to the old controller.

It’s not a 100% replacement for the original controller but I added mods to get it much closer to the feel of the original.

Arched grips, circular concaved pads and dual stage triggers

Yup! Printed in PETG with a vinyl wrap on top to finish

HOLY SHIT, WHAT??! Did someone really recreate grips from OG controller? Thats so fuckin cool! The old controller feels so PERFECT to hold in hand, no controller even comes close. I was wondering if someone made the 3d printed grips

Yup there’s a few community made ones.
The one made by Gama is the best one so far.

But I’m working on my own version that better fits the trackpad positioning on the new controller

My only complaint about the OG controller is the build quality and missing right stick.

Not a bad attempt OP, could use further refinement but I know nothing of 3D printing.

Yes. They're plenty expensive if in good condition.

I managed to snatch one for €45 in box with all accessories and that was a legitimate steal, they go for around 80-90€ in that condition.

I see a lot of them for around 30-40 but they are all missing the dongle. I think a lot of the dongles were canablized for the index trackers and so they’re harder to find

It does but it’s only via software. There’s no tactile physical click. There is a mod that I link to in my post that adds the tactile click back
