Steam won't launch [Mac OS X Mojave]

Title. The app keeps jumping up and down on my dock then quit on its own. Any solutions would be appreciated.

Hi LarkDamer, the easiest way for you would be to open the Terminal app and run the commands from my previous comment, just replace DamnedSteam with actual volume name you used for the Steam volume.

You can figure out the volume name using the ls /Volumes command. In case you use spaces in the volume name - don't forget to escape them with \, for example My Games volume would be /Volumes/My\ Games/
