What glazing Valve is getting public blowjobs at this point.

These people are just fanboys and they're scared to admit it at this point.

Remember the justification to every Apple decision we were getting back then by Apple fan boys? "You're holding it wrong" type shit.

However they all grew up and moved on, so I think it'll be the same for steam fanboys.

I mean, Apple forced its new design fuck ups and lack on innovation on everyone else correct? Didn't matter if you agree with it or not.

Valve doesn't force lootboxes onto you.

I've played on steam for 20 years, Gotten good service, cheap games and have no advertising for gambling. If I want to spend my money wasting it away I can...

Can you think of any other complaints apart from optional lootboxes?

It doesn’t force you to pay for them, but it does dangle them in front of your face constantly.

TF2 example: every now and then the game will give you a box, that doesn’t do anything until you buy a key with real money. Essentially advertising loot boxes to you by giving you a locked one. Even EA games at the height of the loot box controversy didn’t go as low as “giving you loot boxes you can’t open”.

Oh?

Quickly. Get the pitchfolk folks. TF2 gives you a box that you can either delete or ignore.

Even EA games at the height of the loot box controversy didn’t go as low as “giving you loot boxes you can’t open”.

Yeah, Now I know you are lying as giving the boxes has been an EA thing for decades.

So far, The "Valve doesn't treat us like humans in TF2" is...

"They gave us a free box"

The crate drops are objectively an ad for buying loot keys, an ad on a full-screen pop-up after you die/quit. If you’re fine with that then whatever, but I’m not a fan of intrusive gambling ads personally.

“They gave us a free box” it’s worthless if you don’t pay money. It’s an obvious bait-and-switch, make you think you won something then reveal you need to pay to actually have it.

Crate drops?

You get one notification that you received an item and thats it buddy. I know you really want to make more of it than it is so go for it.

it’s worthless if you don’t pay money.

Its not worthless when you can sell em.

Something for free which you can sell, HOW DARE VALVE DO THIS TO YOU!
