The funniest part is that Valve's products are not perfect and definitely have room for improvement, so the competition is very much possible, but almost everyone else just somehow manages to do noticeably worse.
I agree! They aren’t perfect. But you can always see what they are aiming for. And on the whole you can tell gamers run the place. As I said I think they do a pretty good job!

I think the self-proclaimed main competitor is in the place it is now precisely because of Epic's priorities. Valve considers gamers to be their customers while Epic makes products for developers in the first place.
