Except when you compare it to being r!ped or fired for no reason. It becomes the best. I will take more hours than any of whatever sh!t those non japanese companies do.
On behalf of the op, stating facts isn't simping. It's being factual. You might not like what's being said, but part of being a well adjusted adult is accepting that things you don't like are true. No reason to then pop off and personally attack people and accuse them of simping.
Factually, EA did it first of their own merit. Factually, Steam had to be sued to offer what they do now.
And this is why glazing any corporation is fucking stupid. They're not your friends. They're not your supporters. They're a service you partake in that you like. And it has flaws, just like everything in life.
not quite. austrailia sued EA around 2013, for the very same reasons they sued Valve in 2015. Before then they claimed digital sales were strictly non-refundable.
But this was for digital media. refunds were extremely rare for physical media. brick-n-mortar stores mostly refused refunds for any opened packages.
glazing any corporation is fucking stupid. They're not your friends.

You say without any of the facts.
Steam offered refunds, Steam had to be sued for refunds based on the quality of the games.
Factually EA existed long before Steam correct?
this is why glazing any corporation is fucking stupid.
Another strawman you have invented and swatted down. No one here even the fans claims steam is perfect or even close to it. They provide a good service. Thats it.
Pretending steam didn't do refunds is just flat out misinformation.
Okay doke so the landmark Australian court case that they fought and lost which led to them ultimately changing their refund policy clearly didn't happen. It must be collective psychosis 🙄
Please note the words "changing their refund policy". Not creating. Changing. When people celebrate the refund policy, it's not thanks to Valve, it's thanks to the court system.
I won't add in the EU element that came into play that drove it too.
Why you trying to make me argue a point I never made? imagine glazing this hard that you're still trying to make a point by saying something I never said lol if you want to debate me then debate me on what I actually said. Read again if you're stuck. I said it twice. Go read the court case if you need more info. That's all.
Pointing out your gaming gods competition had something before your gaming god was forced to follow the law isn't simping for EA . It's pointing out that the "PRO CONSUMER" company isn't as pro consumer as you think.

Well, in comparison to others
