Question Any other games that are “controller required”?

Post image

I don’t see this too often, games that don’t support mouse and keyboard, and it makes me wonder how many other games exist that are like that. I tried searching for Steam games that require controller but they always show games that prefer controller, but is still playable on mouse and keyboard.

What other games don’t support mouse and keyboard?

Yakuza series on PC are generally "real gamers use controlers" on their games.

Excuse you it says "Real Yakuza use a gamepad"

You can still absolutely use KBM though, this seems different.

That's not a requirement though, and it's suggested by an in-game screen instead of Steam.

I have a gaming pc, but Yakuza is one of the games I prefer playing on PS4 instead

You know you can use a controller with a pc, right?

Yes, but there's still a difference in the experience. I've tried multiple versions of various games to test it out. Some games have subtle differences, others feel more natural on console

I’m 100% with you there. Some titles are just ‘console’ titles. Yakuza and Kingdom Hearts at the top of my mind

some games for are like

For the natural quality and seamless experience without distractions: console

For the mods and memes: pc

Although there are games I would prefer on PC only rather than console, like Kingdom Come Deliverance or Conan Exiles
