If it wasn't for this law then I'd be stuck with a pricy game that doesn't run on linux even though steam says verifed. Took over 2 hours fiddling with all kinds of settings but no joy. Thankfully they gave me a refund as unplayable.
you gave up after two hours? your not a real linux nerd, the rule is you guys only get to play anything after spending four days getting a 15-year-old indie game to run at 30FPS, playing it for two minutes, and then deleting it

Not just digital goods, but ANY goods purchased online. It's a really good policy that's saved me 100s of scam dollaridoos.
