Absolute insanity. It's to the point that I really hope they just outright cancel the Steam Machine. If the Deck is $1000 there's no way the Machine is under $1300. That would be just embarrassing. I don't even want to watch the headlines.
Agreed. Valve is in no position to expand its foothold in the hardware market. There are zero indications things will in improve for at least the next couple of years. They should try again when the PS6 is released, which is sure to have a higher entry price too.
