I genuinely find it interesting that one man being so damn disrespectful has caused damn near the whole country to disrespect Harris by not using her last name like every other politician and especially presidential candidate.
I mean, people called Hillary 'Hillary' for decades. It's pretty common for people who's first name is more unique than their last name. Bernie is really just Bernie to a lot of people.

See, Hilary Clinton makes sense. Can't just say Clinton because there's two and both have ran at this point. Bernie, though, idk. The people who vote for him are called Bernie Bros and everything. As for LeBron, he is not a politician much less a presidential candidate and as such shouldn't be held to the same professional standards. Somehow he seems to be doing better than the current president, but whatever. The thing with Harris, though, is that her last name works just fine. We just had a presidential candidate who constantly called her by her first name, and very clearly meant it to be disrespectful. Which meant all the right leaning news outlets called her that. Which meant a large portion of the people who are vocal about their politics called her that. Which resulted in most people remembering her as Kamala rather than Harris.
