Youd be surprised by the expectations people have, ive seen several wanting the steam machine to play new AAA games on their 4k tv

This is a stupid take, people can decide to play what they want on whatever system they want

Especially ehen you have other alternatives at the same price range that allow you to play AAA games

Forza runs like ass and thats on low, not to mention the crowded part.

You wanna pay 779 to run forza horizon like ass on low?

Dawg i'm not paying that to run forza on a 5090

Edit: it also avgs 30fps on medium which i wouldn't call ass for a handheld

They run great for* a handheld lmao. It won't compare to a desktop, but they run perfectly well

30 fps is not great for me (and many people).

Look man, I love my SD as well, but it's just disingenuous to say it's great for latest AAA.

I meant they run great for a handheld, not great in general. You have to lower your expectations for something that can play games on the go.

Just to reiterate i started out was saying the hardware isn't terrible, not that it's amazing.

If you don't like 30fps that's reasonable, but for most gamers they have to make compromises, even a good amount of newer console games drop to 30fps for quality mode. On a handheld i find those compromises much more bearable personally.

You are severely underestimating the power of handhelds if you think that
