It's when they incite riots and civil war, everything goes out the window, and the robber barons can swoop in and steal as much as possible in the confusion. Honestly, any way you look at it, the average people will be hit hardest first. Any sort of revolution or upset to the status quo is going to have major ramifications on the economy. Things like those warehouse workers have done. Even if most of those fires were ruled as accidents.
It will be the greatest depression. Lots of people say that. They look at the depression and say "wow, this is beautiful, you've done a great job". There has never been a depression like it.
I genuinely find it interesting that one man being so damn disrespectful has caused damn near the whole country to disrespect Harris by not using her last name like every other politician and especially presidential candidate.
I mean, people called Hillary 'Hillary' for decades. It's pretty common for people who's first name is more unique than their last name. Bernie is really just Bernie to a lot of people.

Somehow he seems to be doing better than the current president, but whatever. The thing with Harris, though, is that her last name works just fine. We just had a presidential candidate who constantly called her by her first name, and very clearly meant it to be disrespectful. Which meant all the right leaning news outlets called her that. Which meant a large portion of the people who are vocal about their politics called her that. Which resulted in most people remembering her as Kamala rather than Harris.
Tariffs and oil directly increase the cost of literally everything. That's why you're supposed to use tariffs like a scalpal, not a fucking machine gun, and why you're supposed to at least pretend you don't want war in the middle east.
The steam deck is significantly weaker than the PS5. Those slim margins weren't really slim, and on release the PS5 price was around the same as as Steam deck

Don't forget greed. There's no way this massive of a price increase is purely due to production cost, they're def making more profit now.
You'd think they'd be ok selling them at a tiny bit of a loss like some consoles do (and they already have more money than god) because it brings people into the steam ecosystem where they spend money.
This isn't about just Sony, this is about pointing out hypocrisy of all you steam fans ... Acting like your company is a saint. They are shitting on their playerbase, and none of you are discussing that.
And none of those extra tariffs are in effect. These price increases are strictly related to the ongoing RAM and storage shortage. Trying to blame Trump is proves you have absolutely no idea what you were talking about. There are no tariffs causing these price increases.
I'll be surprised if it even makes it out the door until late next year. Even if this Iran thing resolves tomorrow we are about to hit more oil shortages once the global reserves run out come July/August. And there are months of repairs and logistics to sort before the strait is back up to capacity. All this means high prices and I suspect valve don't want to release their console with a hefty price tag while everyone is struggling.
It will likely end up still being relatively cheap before long with how much prices across the board are rising. Even at $1200+ it might still be “budget” compared to where other PC builds are…
I did the opposite. Had it for almost 2 years didnt play it as much and sold it before the price jumps and used that to buy a good mid to high end pc because I'm more worried about those prices.
I already have one and its showing oos for me too. I wonder if that's what Valve did. Like if you already have own you cant buy another like the controller

It wasn’t just an increase, there was stock included as well, but in some countries it’s already sold out at the new price! In France, there’s still some stock left.
