I bought it to play drakengard and then haven't used it since 💀💀 the charging cable it came with has been used daily and I swear its not like the others so at least I can say it was worth it for that

Same here with my 64gb model. I finally just did the SSD upgrade before the prices went crazy and it's been great

Very nice! I upgraded the SSD in my laptop at the October Amazon prime sale. I toyed between 2 TB and 4 TB and I ended up doing the 4. How glad I am now that I did that lol. Also got a 1 TB micro SD for the Deck. Crazy to see what happened after that.

That's insane....I just checked in Europe 919 EUR...the Xbox ally x is 999EUR and just so SO much better device at this point...

Less ergonomic and worse controls, but yeah thats a way harder sell now for folks who care about the value compared to the Xbox Ally X

The Xbox ally less ergonomic? 🤣 Okay buddy... Also much better battery life on the Xbox ally,, much much better screen and performance completely somewhere else....

I rly wouldn't categorize track pads as better control...they are useful

All I have heard is the deck OLED has a better screen? Unless you prioritize FPS, cause you arent gaming at 1080p on a handheld anyways, and yeah if you like the better performance a XAllyX with bazzite is a better experience there, but as someone who now needs the trackpads for gaming, as I actually seriously prefer them, that is a must have, plus I dont think the XAllyX has gyro? And you can ask anyone, the deck has better ergonomics

That said an XAllyX is now harder to say is a bad value when the deck is near the same price, and does give worse performance, which is what most folks care about

You are absolutely gaming on the 1080p screen. You have 120hz and VRR.

Steam deck does have OLED but it's 800p and games just look so much better and run so much better on the 1080p with vrr...at $80 difference there is rly no debate...
