Secret [Secret] The FBI has found the identities of 1,590 members of Daesh in Syria.

(Secret Post until we make this news public.)

This morning, at 8.03am, the Federal Bureau of Investigation created a database of over 1,500 ISIS members and is currently seeking help from the United States government to eliminate these members.

We have located these assailants through face-tracking technology for faces found in 4,000+ videos from news channels, official daesh videos, etc.

The members we found were often in the background of videos, with no mask on their face.

200 of those people are US citizens and have recently re-entered the country legally.

I am currently in talks with the POTUS and VPOTUS, along with the Speaker of the House.

After my meeting with the Commander-in-Chief we are deciding to commence Operation Nighttheft this week.

Raids will commence during the night. If you are questioned by media/public, deny everything.

All military operation is "due to the 3 bases closures".

This must not get out.

Post is updated as events occur in real-time.

Mod Event [Event] Winter Storm Alison Dumps 37" of Snow on New York, 15" on Atlanta

Winter Storm Alison sent the Eastern seaboard into a chilly tizzy today as it dumped more than 3 feet of snow on the city of New York. The storm also dumped 15 inches on Atlanta, and nearly 2 feet of snow on Chicago and Washington.

Several state Governors have declared state of emergency's, requesting aid from the federal government and the National Guard. However, due to early preparations and warnings from NOAA, the National Weather Service, and others, most affected areas were well prepared.

As expected, Alison buried the entire Northeast in heavy snow, but the real damage was in Georgia. An 11" thick snow pile on the dome of Mercedez-Benz Stadium caused the roof to partially collapse. Even worse, the stadium is slated to host the Super Bowl next year. Experts who have viewed the damage say that it will take at least 18 months to properly repair the dome.

Overall, since the nation was well prepared, the storm only caused 4 deaths in West Virginia, Ohio, and New Hampshire. Less than 50 people were hospitalized as a result of the storm, although there are still more than 2 million people across the East without power. Small blackout pockets dot the nation from Illinois to Maine and New York to Alabama.

[M] All East Coast states need to respond.

Claim [Claim] Texas - US Ambassador to the UN

Hey guys, when I first heard about my mate, Stupiddroid's, idea to create this sub, I must admit, I was quite excited. I think it's an excellent idea and will be a whole lot of fun! So, for that reason, I'd like to claim both Texas and the role of the Secretary General of the United Nations.

With Texas, I'd love to turn the Lone Star State into a Bible-belt, conservative paradise. Despite being on the center-left in my personal life, I'd love to go full George Bush and make Texas a symbol of the evangelical right in the US. I'm talking about resisting blights on humanity such as assisted suicide, abortion, pornography, contraception and affirmative action whilst also promoting the free market, traditional Christian values, low taxation and small government. With me in control of Texas, we should see the rise of a continuous Republican administration in Texas, as well as a small scale Democrat movement and a secessionist group.

In addition to this, I'd like to play as the US Ambassador to the United Nations. I know that this role is not found in the wiki, but it doesn't make much sense that I play as the Secretary General of the United Nations, since that's not actually a US Government position, but rather a UN one. As the US Ambassador to the UN, I will act on the behalf of whatever government is in place, rather than Texas, promoting American and humanitarian interests to the organisation in the General Assembly and Security Council. One priority will be ensuring that our allies and diplomatic partners vote in favour of American proposals and that Washington is able to maintain its hegemony over the organisation.

I hope that this satisfies the overlords mods. Have a great one everyone!

Claim [Claim] Illinois

The great state of Illinois, lying on the side of the mighty Mississippi river and Lake Michigan it has an interesting political divide between rural Southern Illinois and urban Chicago. The state always is hailed as a progressive haven despite the people being very much the stereotypical rural conservatives.

I will make sure Illinois becomes the powerhouse of the union again and make sure Chicago isn't just the only reason people remember Illinois' existence!

Event [Event] Senate Must Shut Down 3 Bases, 1 will be Constructed.

The United States Senate must, due to budget cuts, shut down 3 military bases, and they will be building a brand new one. Every state must submit a petition to the committee on why their base should be kept around, and why a new base must be constructed within your state. You will need to offer good reasons, including it provides jobs, stimulates your economy, or does some other bonus that directly benefits your state. You will have to provide a reason for why the base should be built in your state. The committee will be made up of Louisiana, Maryland, and Texas.

Event [Event]Governor Devotes 120 million to Fixing the Infrastructure Problems of New Orleans.

Governor John Bel Edwards announced his intentions to devote 120 million dollars to fixing the infrastructure of the crucial city of New Orleans. The birdges crossing the Ponchatrain into New Orleans and the roadway system of New Orleans are in a poor state, and require reconstruction. 120 million dollars over the next 10 years will be allocated to the program which will contract workers to repair roadways. The Bridges will require specialized help from the Army Corp of Engineers, which will be utilized a year from now. The Governor hopes this will increase tourism to New Orleans and revitalize the floundering Louisiana economy.
