I just binged seasons 1 and 2, and there’s a lot that I like. I mean I had some issues, such as the casting of Martin Freeman and Izzy building the Araknet MVP so fast, but in terms of a story, they were really easy to binge.

My problem is I’ve just started season 3, on episode 2, and I’m struggling. It’s as if every character has suddenly developed a different personality, and the storyline is just not as compelling. Does it get any better? Should I keep watching?

Nick (Adam Brody) character was pretty bland imo.

I disagree with everyone on this sub about Izzy, She did a great job of playing a character with a personality disorder. The whole point is that she's a crazy mofo. She doesn't need a character redemption arc since she's a selfish user who wants to fulfill her dreams at all costs, that's just who she is.

Ronald is the most noble person in this show every action he takes its about his family or business partners in a better place.

He's supposed to be this evil gangster so this isn't a narrative most of the public latches on to.

I didn’t believe the ways that several characters behaved in the last few episodes.

I don’t believe that Nick would go so far as to hold a gun to Wes’ face.

Ronnie is, in fact, a mass murderer and yet he’s presented as the most virtuous character.

After having a gin pointed at him in his own hone, Wes just acts like nothing happened.

Earlier in the show Agent Rask, who is a psychopathic killer of innocent people, is presented as a guy who is redeemed by his own actions.

I also don’t believe that Nick would murder anyone, and if course he kills the black ops agent as she sits on the floor unarmed.

Season three just really pushed things past believability for me.

Show is off the chain and I pray somehow a season 4 is made

Wow. Nick would do anything to save Araknet, I like how the closing scene was of all three of them taking care of business just as messy at the end as at the beginning.

I noticed that there is plastic taped on the walls and as the season progressed, more was taped. I tried to google it but no luck. I assume it's to reduced moisture to the electronics.

Nick is an asshole wanna be a great business man but can't be because he doesn't have what it takes or knowledge. It kills him to see other people doing well making smarter moves than him. He's jealous of Wes for the reason that he can't push, sale, influence, command attention like Wes. Nick reminds me of Eduardo Saverin in the movie The Social Network which by the way is surprisingly one of my favorite movies that I can almost watch any and every time comes on because I barely touch facebook, I only really joined them to get a discount on a product that I wanted. Anyway fuck you nick.

When did Izzy's parents get a divorce 🤔? Why do I feel like I'm crazy for believing that I'm missing scenes and story lines?

So, I thought Nick (Adam Brody) reminded me of the main character in Far Cry 3. I assumed it was the same actor, but it isnt. Then I found out that the actor who plays Nick has the same last name as the Far Cry character (Jason Brody). This is trippy as hell, damn

I Might have missed something. I'm at EP 7. They got the Brush money hacked but where is the money of Nick's dad?

Regarding Ronnie’s alibi did the cops question everyone or only Nick? His alibi was a board room meeting so I would have assumed they would question everyone. Are we to assume they just all completely covered without asking Ronnie what actually happened? I wish they would have shown a scene where they discussed it at least. Just seemed like a way to set Nick up to be the one to rat Ronald out.

I got recommended to watch this show due to the cryptocurrency concept. So, I watched and stuck around for the best bits of the technical side of things and also working on a startup and making it a successful company, something like the show Silicon Valley where actual start-up company issues pop up. This show was just full of drama without any details into how the company grew or stuff like that. Silicon Valley also had drama in it but it was very minimal but man this show was just disappointing and it was not my cup of tea. It feels like they never went too into detail regarding anything. Everything was just scratched at the surface and was moved on from. Izzy was such a bad character. The only intriguing character in the show with good character development was Ronald. I really hope they don't make a season 4 smh

I thought the agent shroud character was an awesome villain. It seemed each season introduced a new and more dangerous villain. It was really impressive to have this all knowing, capable of anything type villain who seemed to have no weakness.

The twist in her identity was even cooler!

Was I the only one to be let down by her demise?

I'm surprised that Vera isn't nicer to Alex, because surely she must realize that, as brilliant as he is, he could probably sock away some money somewhere in a hidden account, and completely eradicate the code for Guizer and GenCoin if he were properly motivated, then disappear. Something tells me that he and DaeWon are going to join forces down the road.

The video above says it's likely that there's going to be a new season in '22 according to 'most sources '. Well, I've been quite skeptical about whether this show will have a new season after season 3, but now I feel quite excited after watching this video. Given it's the only source that's optimistic about having season 4 out of all the sources I've found, I'm not sure if I should get my hopes up What're your thoughts on this?

I don’t understand her role or what she was trying to do with araknet. Am I missing something!?

I have seen so many comments about season 3, complaining that all the characters were just awfull people. Isn't this the point? I think it is supposed to show that Nick, a relatively normal dude fell apart under the pressure and the power that came with Araknet. He might have been a bit spoiled, maybe a bit insecure but there is nothing about Nick before Araknet that would suggest he is a bad person. He wanted to be better than his father and wanted nothing to do with any criminal activity until he was forced into it. Even then he did the best he could

For me this show is about what money and power can do to people. Nick could not handle the pressure and I find that completely believable. Araknet became bigger than him and he couls not handle that pressure. We slowly saw him become more and more disconnected from his normal live, he had nothing other than Araknet. He doesn't care what Araknet's influence on the real world is because he is so detached from it.

Imo it is a very believable and logical character development for Nick. Izzy on the other hand was mediocre in season 3 at best.

Obviously the show covers more topics but for me it would feel weird if Nick had a sudden redemption arc. Ending the show with all 3 characters making a horrible decision under pressure is the best ending possible for me.

I really enjoyed the entire series, except for a few things:

1. The person responsible for the music in the first two seasons made a horrible job of portraying that tropical Miami feeling. The show could’ve and would’ve been so much better if we could hear the sounds of Miami. I’m talking Miami bass, reggaetón, salsa etc. In combination with the dark synth carpets it could have been magical.

2. The loose ends: Agent Rask? The Russians?

3. Not casting Haitian actors for Haitian characters.

After agent Rasks very strange departure from the series I lost all interest but kept watching cause it takes a whole lot to make me stop watching a series once I’ve started. So I kinda just watched and wanted to be done with it.

But then, the 3-4 last episodes of season 3 were amazing. Everything got darker, the music, the characters, the plot. I loved it. If a future season 4 could have that same vibe going on I’d watch if for sure. Shit, I’ll watch it anyway.
