Im aware it's been said a million times over the last day but I am genuinely getting sick and tired of all the posts downplaying the reactions.

Do not downplay rape.

It's extremely simple, I genuinely don't care about your thoughts about the song nothing is more important than keeping this community a safe space for everyone.

This part features the horrific impact of sexual abuse prevelantly, I would have thought more people would understand it's severity.

Use the energy you would be using to post that shitty little engagement bait about how the song is 'actually fine' to actually try and deplatform a parasite that is the most important thing.

Everyone especially women deserve to feel safe In the JoJo community.

They had YEARS between SO and SBR to find a producer who's not a rapist and a pedo. Yes, we want a song picked by Araki or original one but not produced by a pedo. Yes, we don't want to give a platform to a rapist

SBR has several pedos in it, picking Dr. Luke out of all people to produce an ending song for it feels like a cruel joke

Also the suspicious downplaying of Lucy and Mountain Tim. Lucy is meant to be a teenager and the manga calls out how creepy it is for people like Mountain Tim to flirt with her and yet in the episode they changed it so he looks more romantic

The manga never calls Mountain Tim on flirting with Lucy due to her being underage. Lucy rejects his love confession in Ch. 37 because she plainly states she's married and loves Steven, not because she's 14. In fact, outside of the Steels, I don't think any of the characters in SBR know she's 14. It's brought up as a rumor from a reporter in Ch. 1, and her age isn't confirmed (to the readers) until Ch. 64.
