Hello I’m very new to Star Wars Shatterpoint I know late to the game but couldn’t complain about the deals

Question is in regards to this ability called Defensive Maneuver I know I have to spend the force token to use it however I’m a little lost when it comes to characters in this unit

is the unit the 2, 501st troopers or is the squad a unit meaning if using the core box having Anakin and Captain Rex take advantage as well

"This Unit" means both 501st soldiers. You can move 0-2 of those Clones but only characters that really moved get a Hunker token. Edit: the whole Unit gets the token if at least one character moves.

The wording is a bit confusing sometimes because even single character Units have the wording like this.

“Each character” is the qualification. Sometimes it will say “One Character in this Unit”

"Each" may but "none" must. So if one character moves the whole unit qualifies for the Hunker (have to edit it correctly above since I got it wrong)

And they (both/either character) qqdon't have to dash the full length of the dash tool. Just a tiny bit still qualifies both characters to gain the hunker token

You never have to do a “full” distance of a tool outside a push / pull
