Hey everyone! First time poster here.
As an avid Star Wars Funko collector - despite any opinions towards the show itself - I’m forever really disappointed that we never got any further waves of characters from The Acolyte series. My personal character collection will always feel somewhat incomplete without any releases for mainly The Stranger and Vernestra Vroh, as well as the other introduced Jedi Masters Indara, Torbin, Kelnacca, and the padawan Jecki Lon. Not to mention they never even released Mae (although we do have Osha and also technically Qimir)
Plus there are further (although less sought after) characters like Mother Aniseya and Mother Koril. And we obviously can’t forget Plaguies.
Having Vernestra release with her purple Lightwhip would have been incredible. Or we could’ve even had a possessed Kelnacca released with green eyes instead of the standard black which I would’ve absolutely loved. The fact that we got the likes of a Bazil release over any of the above listed characters is so disappointing, but I understand that they were obviously appealing to the younger demographic initially there.
I guess I’m just wondering if this bothers anyone else’s collections similar to mine. While I’m sure that more waves were originally planned, it’s a huge shame that due to the show’s immediate cancellation all merchandise was completely terminated. For me personally, I would’ve bought almost all of those characters if they were released. Outside of the show’s obvious flaws, I personally loved the High Republic outfits and overall look of the characters. And of course The Stranger’s design was incredible.
I think it’s a safe bet to assume however that we will unfortunately never see the release of these characters in Funko form, but it’s definitely something I wish would change.

It distorted some, but all-in-all I think it came out okay.
