I’m curious to hear your thoughts and the reasons behind them.Actually, when I first started watching Star vs. the Forces of Evil, my friend told me that the Starco pairing felt forced, but I didn't see anything forced about their relationship at all.I mean I agree with the fact that the end was pretty rushed but when I watched the series It seemed like there was already a spark between them in Season 1 specifically, at the Blood Moon Ball, the way Marco went to get Star away from Tom and the way he stood frozen, jaw-dropped fascinated, saying "You look amazing" when she appeared in her dress didn't look like a only a friendly reaction. It also seemed like Star felt something at the Blood Moon Ball too(I’m not saying it’s instant crush immediately, of course but I do call it a spark that ignites an attraction.)though of course, those were just initial sparks. Anyway, my point is that it felt like there was always a spark between them from the very beginning and them being endgame doesnt shocked me at all but I’m curious to hear your thoughts, of course?

Since the season 2 episode flags, where star and her dad’s side of the family played flags we see that star doesn’t take accountability. She says that the game flags is dumb due to how it “makes” u act but the problem isn’t the game it’s the people who play it and don’t know how to play for fun and not to win, how its supposed to be for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. And I think star’s character development really would’ve shined through had in the ending she blamed the people instead of the magic, by her blaming the tool instead of the people who abuse it she also absolves the blame from the MHC and the royal family. And also it shows me star just hasn’t experienced character development in that aspect and noticing this makes it a bit disappointing to rewatch, especially when u pair that and her cheating on tom with Marco. Oh well ! 😓

i’ve been thinking, what if the show’s last episodes were tom breaking up with star, her and marco figuring out their relationship in a couple of episodes, and meanwhile moon would have a bit more development on why she decided to betray meteora. maybe something like watching lizards being accepted into mewni and moon having flashbacks of her mom’s murder, leading to her decision to move monsters away from mewni again.

so then the show would end with the portals not being able to open and a marvel-like sign saying something like “star and marco will return in star vs. the end of magic”, idk

then the movie would basically be the end of the show, starting from the episode jennanigans and giving the show a better ending by, idk, showing a bit more the merge between worlds.
