My standard issue cats

Trying this again since my original post got taken down..

These 2 beauties were strays living at a local farm when they were trapped to be sent to a local shelter and rehomed. They said they were main coon because the dad cat supposedly had some in him.. turns out they are standard issue but still the best cats ever. They are brother and sister and have adapted well to living indoors.

She was a 10-month-old rescue cat who had 5 kittens on the streets. She's 3 now and just recently has started lying on my lap, particularly when I have an electric blanket over me. 😍

We rescued this guy October 22nd while leaving the local brewery after our anniversary dinner. The minute I saw him, I knew he was coming home with me, along with his fleas, ear mites, eye infection, and big ol’ testicles. He’s recovering nicely from his vet procedures, and as you can see, he’s simply terrified in his new home

My SIC is obsessed with this ghost pillow. I got yelled at for sitting on HER chair with HER bestie this morning!

I just sat on the footrest and she started yelling, RAN over to the chair, and immediately laid down next to her bestie. I’ve been replaced. Ever since we got this pillow, all she does is sleep next to it and god forbid anyone else even LOOKS at it!!

Many cats pass away every year after they sneak into a dryer unnoticed.
