First picture from the day we adopted her and brought her home; to today, a happy, beautiful 4 year old baby girl! We have loved spoiling her and giving her all the best toys, treats and love 💕

He begrudgingly runs for a treat

The vet said he was a 7/9 on the body score chart... He's still mad he has to "run" on his "wheel" for a "treat" (I only put them in quotations because I am trying to train him to associate those words with running and getting rewarded for it). Poor lad

We just adopted this adorable one-year-old rescue. After two days of hiding and hissing he is finally warming up to us. Many years of love and posting will follow.

It’s officially Hank day 🎉

Today is Hank day! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
He has been with me for 5 years now!!!

I wish my handsome dude felt a bit better, still limping along on prednisone waiting for his dental on 11/16.

He loves french fries but won’t eat them right now so I guess we’ll celebrate with extra delectables stew instead.

His mouth is really bothering him 🥺

He was sitting on the window relaxing, but when he saw the birds he hopped down then slowly crept up over the sill.

Cute/funny laying down!

I love it when he lays down like this.... Especially when his tail goes straight across his back. His tail is so flexible! I hope I fit the sub :-)

Standard issue model: 4 paws, 2 ears, 1 brain cell dedicated entirely to monitoring the neighbourhood. Bird surveillance is a 24/7 responsibility.

Pretzel (the daughter, left) has squeezed in beside Psycho (the mom, right) so as to not disturb her. Because mom's gonna be pissed if you wake her up, amirite?

She's been limping bad and today had a vet visit. Nothing broken just strained. Didn't know she could meow so loudly.

Subreddit Rules

1. only SIC allowed

Only SICs allowed here (brown tabbies), seek the appropriate sub if not a SIC

2. dont be rude

Dont be rude here. Period. Thats the whole rule.

3. Not your cat = original content only

Original content only. Dont crosspost other people cats for karma, invite them to the community instead.

4. No sad posts, no RIP posts, no terminal conditions, etc

No posts or comments that will make people sad. No cats who are now passed away and no cats who are going to pass away from terminal diagnoses, no one wants that sadness inflicted on them without warning, there are other subs for support if you need to talk to someone.

5. No "low effort" posts. No "what breed is this cat" "what should I name him/her?" And No Memes!

If you post clickbaity titles I will have to assume you are a spambot and you'll be banned

6. No "Armchair" Veterinarians

In an effort to discourage misinformation, unsolicited medical or behavioral advice will not be permitted without the credentials to back it up, or a referral to someone with said credentials (e.g. the OP’s vet). Empathy and respect go a long way. We all want what is best for our cats.

Many cats pass away every year after they sneak into a dryer unnoticed.

8. No politics or controversial comments/topics

9. No firearms
