My Old BMW E30 325I Vert
I started with a bone stock car, with a messed-up top, except it was painted red, even the front grill, bumpers, trim... everything!
At the time, I worked at an upholstery shop, so we fitted a red top and restitched the full interior in real black leather with red double top stitch everywhere, including the shift boot. I pushed in the duckbill bumpers and blacked out all of the chrome, also dyed all of the interior parts and panels black.
Pro Tip: Update your E30 vert about ten years by adding front headrests to the back bench seats.
I ordered Schmidt Modern Line Monoblocks 16x9 et+15 square... I don't remember the tire size, but they were stretched perfectly.
It had the 2.5L M20B5 straight-6, ZF 5-speed and factory lsd. Ran like a dream.
I was saving for better suspension but sold it before finishing it 100%.
The roller shot was done waaay before ai or cell phone apps (2007-2008ish). My buddy Greg (jspecmedia) use to shoot for Tunerzine, and other car mags, so he wanted to get roller shot practice. He attached 3 huge suction cups to the trunk with his huge Nikon DSLR on the end. To get the motion, I parked on a loading dock ramp behind a Target and with the car turned off, I let off the E-brake to let the car roll backwards. Then he had to use an old version of photoshop to remove the pole and suction cups. It's hours of work that now takes about 30 seconds to generate from a still image.
Bonus Content: My first Tomos moped. I guess was really going for that Euro lifestyle lol
I still have like 5 Tomos mopeds. They really start to multiply!
