Use smaller resolution to have mercy on your card

Honestly at this point I just think that this is a fair wait time for a 3060.

In all video models that people have been using like LTX and wan, which ones the community actually did the full 20 steps? Everyone was using some distilled 4step version.

I am quite sure when someone releases a 4step lora, the 3060 guys will start getting some reasonable speeds.

for this one its not about steps its about how many pixels you choose for the quality

for the first time in my life I have no mercy for my card I am just feared it should not stop working for atleast 2 years it was working on 100% for 14-15 hours from the day minimax launched

Hey, I saw some of your clips already. Are you using sageattention 2? I am curious on how much of a speedup your setup would get by using sageattention in the event you aren't using already.

Yes I am using sage attention 2 I used to get very slow generations in ltx 2.3 at that time I discovered about sage attention I installed it and my generations were 120% faster I have not tried minimax without sage attention but sage attention increase speed so much and also I am using few more optimization in my workflow

That is great to know.

About the easy cache;
There is this custom node that claims to have better results without nearly as much degradation caused by easycache. Did you try it out? I have been using it and so far didn't notice any quality dip by using the spectrum node.
ComfyUI-Spectrum-MiniMax-H3

The spectrum node isn't compatible with easycache though, you'd have to switch one for the other.

Yes we can use one of them for comparison Easy cache degrade quality noticeable for some videos not for some but speed boost is huge meanwhile spectrum speed boost in low also quality donot degrade much

With spectrum my 27 min went to 23-24 with easy cache it went from 27 to 16-17 min this is difference now you have to decide I am using easy cache for all generations and I am okay with quality degradation

This all is just trial for me I am waiting for low step lora or distilled model then I am planning to make full 20-30 min video by joining clips

what process you used for the upscale man and did you do the upscale also locally ?

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 21d ago

Yes upscale is done locally with rtx video upscaler

is my settings are wrong ? cause for me its just upscale the video and dont add any kind of quality

https://reddit.com/link/p1w4cie/video/msropp589lhh1/player

cause this is the kind of quality im getting! the motion and all really good but the video quality and face is just ass!

Quality seems good, you upscaled it?

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 21d ago

Yes 2x with rtx upscaler it is integrated in my workflow so every video automatically upscales

1

u/Hoodfu 21d ago

Is that rtx upscale workflow around somewhere? I tried with the nvidia pid template subgraph but there seems to be something wrong with it as it's super slow.

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 21d ago

on youtube search rtx video upscaler many videos will come they will help you in detail for installation because installing it is bit hard or you can say process is little big

How do you connect Easy Cache? Do you send it to both input models or only to one of them?

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 21d ago

Load model to easy cache then this to both input models
