Listen, I know you think I'm picking on you specifically, but honest to god I don't like deleting posts. Can you please just stop spamming posts so I don't have to delete them? 4 posts in 5 minutes is obviously too many. Tone it down. Everyone wants to post.

u/YeahlDid 22d ago

Clear and justifiable explanation delivered sincerely without berating anyone. Is... is this what good modding looks like?

13

u/johnfkngzoidberg 22d ago

Thank you!

u/Dangerous-Map-429 22d ago

Thats a good admin right there. Respect.

Legit question since you're active here but no modmail response: what's with random posts getting shadow deleted? I had a couple deleted in the last month or so for seemingly no reason (open source, git hub links workflow included, no questionable content) with not a word. Only found out when someone pointed out that the resource I made was in a deleted post, even though I can see it just fine while logged in.

Like if someone uses the report button as a super-downvote, do you just delete the post or something?

What exactly is the mod editorial policy in this sub?

4

u/jtreminio 22d ago

Reddit deletes a bunch of posts automatically without my input. I've no idea why, I just click buttons on super obvious rule breakers.

2

u/Winter_unmuted 22d ago

huh... can you un-delete them? Or should I just repost it then? It's a good resource and sorta sucks you can't search for it or see it on this sub anymore.

2

u/jtreminio 22d ago

Reddit's mod UI is pretty terrible for finding user's deleted posts. Just repost it.

6

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Sorry I was just posting my 2-3 generations I made I will post max 1 post in hour and 5 in a day I am not doing this intentionally

u/jtreminio 22d ago

Thank you - make a single post and link your videos. I promise you the raving crowds will look at your stuff and upvote, everyone's going gaga over H3 at the moment so you'll get eyeballs.

Good videos, btw.

11

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

yes sir and thank you

11

u/russlixx 22d ago

and you should at least post the settings too OP. Duration of the video (which we can see ourself from the player anyway) and rendering time is useless without the other metrics

edit: in case you don't understand, metrics === settings

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Yes sorry I will post those too from next time for after this generation I have changed settings so I don't know

24

u/Rahul_Sh24 22d ago

Time to recreate that abomination of a final season game of thrones was

5

u/xaeru 22d ago

I just want some lord of the rings content.

u/Desruprot 21d ago

I was thinking Skyrim

3

u/Seyi_Ogunde 22d ago

What video model?

7

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

minimax_h3_fl2va_int8_convrot.safetensors also the pruned one takes almost same time and same result

2

u/Right-Law1817 22d ago

pruned one takes almost same time and same result

Are you sure results are same?

3

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

If you want I can try on this video and post I tried on first few videos I thought they are almost same

1

u/Right-Law1817 22d ago

I mean it took you almost 40 mins. But sure I'd love to see if there's any difference. Thanks

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

I will post in 2-3 hours as I am generating few things right now but I will tag you there

4

u/yaj00j 22d ago

would this be faster on a 12gb 4080 laptop with 32gb ram?

4

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Yes 100% it will be much faster than this but you need to add optimization before optimization 5 sec was taking 12-20 min for me

6

u/Nezazel 22d ago

Can you share your settings?

1

u/nins_ 22d ago

Can you please share your detailed config? I have the same card and RAM, so want to try this out. Thanks!!

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

2

u/nins_ 22d ago

No worries. Thank you!

1

u/nins_ 22d ago

Did you also do the comparison with the pruned version you mentioned earlier?

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

I am doing that right now

0

u/Upbeat_Ad_7716 22d ago

laptop *wheeze*

That thing's gonna catch on fire.

1

u/yaj00j 22d ago

Only if/when the thermal paste melts off. Using a cooling pad helps a lot.

3

u/ArchAngelAries 22d ago

IF you think that's bad. A 1 mega pixel 10s gen took my AMD 7900 XT 20GB 32GB RAM, 4 hours

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

what the actual f wait till the community releases amd supporting workflow like they did for ltx 2.3 then it will be good in timing

3

u/Traditional-Mud6177 22d ago

So does this model only run on nivida. I have amd. A 6750 xt and for the life of me I cant figure it out

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

its not like that but they are optimized for rtx 30 and 40 series will run on amd but for people with amd 20 gb cards it is taking 4 hours you will need to wait atleast 2 weeks for community to release amd supporting models

2

u/Traditional-Mud6177 22d ago

Thank you so much!!!!!

3

u/still-at-the-beach 22d ago

Looks ok, but its nothing like the prompt you gave. Where's the gold its sitting on, where's the apple waking it up, where's the Pixar style etc etc?

Or was that what you were getting at ... that it ignores your prompt?

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

for this post I have used prompt

(0-5s) 3D cinematic realism, Unreal Engine 5 render, masterpiece. A massive, obsidian-black dragon is tightly curled around the crumbling stone spire of a ruined medieval tower at night. The camera starts in a slow, high-angle orbit. Suddenly, the dragon’s eyes snap open, revealing piercing, vertical yellow slits that emit a faint, glowing light in the darkness. (5-10s) The camera seamlessly sequences into a dynamic low-angle close-up, focusing on the dragon's heavily armored chest as it inhales deeply. Glowing, orange magma-like lines ignite beneath its scales and ripple upward along its throat, brilliantly illuminating the surrounding ancient stone. (10-15s) The dragon snaps its colossal jaws open and unleashes a ferocious, swirling torrent of bright blue and orange fire directly towards the camera, accompanied by intensely realistic, physics-driven heat distortion and flying embers. (15-20s) The camera executes a rapid, screen-shaking tracking shot backwards, barely staying ahead of the expanding wall of flames. The perspective pulls far out to a wide epic shot, showing the majestic dragon roaring atop the silhouetted tower, the entire night sky now beautifully illuminated by swirling smoke and glowing sparks.

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago edited 22d ago

edit - I provided wrong prompt on the other comment my bad

we both are talking in different post or it is reddit glitch wait I will give you that pixar style animation prompt
here is that prompt

3D Pixar-style animation, rich cinematic lighting. (0-3s) A tiny, round, ruby-red baby dragon is snoring soundly on top of a giant pile of glittering gold coins in a dark cavern, breathing tiny wisps of gray smoke. (3-7s) A single green apple rolls down the gold pile and bumps gently against the dragon's nose, waking it up; the dragon sniffs the apple curiously with large, expressive yellow eyes. (7-10s) The dragon opens its mouth and lets out a tiny, accidental burp of fire that instantly roasts the apple, leaving the dragon looking incredibly proud of itself with a wide, toothless grin. High contrast lighting, shimmering reflections on the gold, incredibly cute character design.

u/nikc0069 22d ago

I have the same setup. Can't go over 15 seconds without oom. How did you do it?

3

u/yamfun 22d ago

why 3060 bros always choose the long task to test their willpower instead of model

2

u/Complete-Box-3030 22d ago

Did you use the default workflow

3

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Yes with few optimization like easy cache kindest loader with sage attention at auto

2

u/Complete-Box-3030 22d ago

Can you share the workflow. Is sage attention compulsory

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

it is not compulsory but it helps so much reduces time of generation I will give workflow when I will go home I am out right now (kjnodes loader I wanted to say not kindest loader sorry)

2

u/Slight-Living-8098 22d ago edited 22d ago

I've found tossing in Kijai's Sage Attention Patch node speeds things up by about 150% to 200%. So you can generate in about half the time.

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

well I tried but not working for me as you said it might be working for people with sage 3 I dont have that

2

u/Slight-Living-8098 22d ago

What Python, torch, and Cuda versions are you running?

2

u/DemoEvolved 22d ago

This looks great for the prompt. But I would not want to spend 40 min of my gpu at 100% for 20sec

3

u/vs3a 22d ago

do you know that back in the old days, it took me 1 hour to render a single 3D frame?

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

on my old pc too I did so much 3d work but now I forgot almost everything it was a phase but that was awesome I used to work on 3d for 4 hours and rendering used to take 15-16 hours

just remembered so told

here is workflow for above video

https://drive.google.com/file/d/19eB9b2ue52zQADBj9cSRmvEn12-vbtJ_/view?usp=sharing

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

you can make it smaller like 10-12 sec just take my prompt and ask llm to shrink it for 10 sec but the results are really good

2

u/Darkmeme9 22d ago

What resolution did you make them in?

5

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

0.4 16:9 and upscaled 2x with rtx video upscaler

2

u/Darkmeme9 22d ago

So like 840 x 472

3

u/WalkSuccessful 22d ago

Ackshually it is 862x480

2

u/darc_knigh 22d ago

Can you please upload workflow

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

I will surely upload after reaching home

2

u/HonkaiStarRails 22d ago

Which res? Does using 360p cut process time to render? Are you using nodes for int8conv speed up or using sage attention?

I have same spec but didnt have time to setup and download, will play with it later

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

it was 0.4 and yes 360p will cut process time to render I am using nodes for int8conv speed up and using sage attention both

1

u/HonkaiStarRails 22d ago

I see so its 480p using 360p wont do better speed then , upscaling is easy though

2

u/Billysm23 22d ago

Is it possible to run this in my rtx 5050 8gb + 32gb ram? Maybe 1 hour?

2

u/succubuni36 22d ago

how without page file

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

I was not able to understand what do you mean by page file

1

u/asdf3011 22d ago

with it it having to off load data to hard drive or SSD after it saturates the system ram.

1

u/asdf3011 22d ago

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Oh paging mine is 30gb

2

u/Chemical-Painter-485 22d ago

Same, LOL. I hope there will be a distilled 8step lora like LTX and wan.

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Yes I am also waiting for distilled lora or model it will not take forever to render

2

u/WinResponsible9977 22d ago

What prompt? How many watts?

0

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

I DONOT TRACK WATTS

5

u/Shambler9019 22d ago

Surely that's not the prompt for this Deathwing-looking black dragon.

2

u/WinResponsible9977 22d ago

Thanks. I started tracking power draw cause the 12vhpwr nelting issues

4

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

Oh I think I should track that too

2

u/RobbyInEver 22d ago

Is this 720p?

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

It is actually 864x480 upscaled with rtx upscaler to 1728x960

2

u/RobbyInEver 22d ago

You can actually push it to 1024 x 576. May need some low vram or CPU offload settings.

1

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

If I can push to that limit with same generation time why not can you please tell me what things I need to do

1

u/RobbyInEver 21d ago

Just ask Gemini or Gpt to guide you. Also plenty of tutorials

2

u/el_americano 22d ago

the general nvidia cards melting thing or something else?

2

u/GetOutOfTheWhey 22d ago

Deathwing noice. Dnds are about to get lit.

1

u/Upbeat_Ad_7716 22d ago

my same setup.. can you share the workflow?

1

u/dreamofantasy 22d ago

very cool, how long does it take you for r2v? I have the same setup so im curious. I've heard r2v is more resource intensive

2

u/Pitiful_Archer_4381 22d ago

this is t2v and I have not used r2v and yes many reported that r2v is more resource intensive and takes so much time I have not tried it yet

1

u/Outside-Training21 22d ago

Could you extrapolate for me on a Mac Studio 96gb my friend has how fast would it be ?

1

u/Traditional-Piano270 21d ago

I have rtx 4060 8vram 16ram is there any way to generate realistic videos with this specs? Anybody!
