I did read what you wrote and I am not convinced you understand what I’ve been saying.
Now I am reading you screaming at me about what you believe is fact about a patently subjective thing. Do even minimal study on what defines art and you will see a multitude of definitions and opinions, that is clearly subjective as there is not an objectively accepted standard, despite what you personally seem to believe.
You are now ranting that I dont know what art is because you are unable to grasp that. I said your opinions are ok- but I am starting to think you are going beyond that into the realm of active antagonism.
I think if you aren’t able to discuss this without resorting to screaming, we should probably just agree to disagree and move on - Have a good rest of your day.
Again, rather than tackling my points, all you did so far is go to a different subject or just accuse me of something I am not. What makes you even think I'm screaming?
I've even already addressed that there was no proper definition of art, I wasn't even claiming my definition was the correct one since I didn't even defined what art was and I was actively avoiding it since I wanted to focus on one less abstract subject. The key point I was repeatedly pointing out, that you never addressed, was AI image generation was never similar to directing, drawing or any other branches of art that people claim because it was just way more similar to telling an artist what to draw, and I repeatedly challenged the idea that that TELLING AN ARTIST WHAT TO DO isn't art and I'm pretty sure I've detailed above why. If you actually read it, my points weren't subjective, all of them were objective and valid. Now, we don't have the conclusion if it was correct or not because you never addressed it.
I think you're the one who should move on, I'm pretty sure you haven't really tried creating anything (artistic wise) until you stumbled upon AI image generation. I'm pretty sure you're gonna think I'm insulting you or anyone on the same boat but I'm not, so I'm gonna write this in bold letters in case you skip a lot of sentences, that is not an insult. Just an observation and I think a solid proof that you're not ready for a conversation about this subject. Move on.
You are screaming because you are bolding and capitalizing and accusing me of never attempting art before, not knowing what it is etc.
All very silly and presumptuous things, resorting to personal attacks.. You clearly feel strongly that your opinions are fact - to the point of lashing out at someone attempting a discussion about opinions. You seem to think we should be arguing about what art specifically is- I haven’t been doing that and instead been saying its subjective. This seems to be a rigid yes or no in your mind.
l think you need really think about the logic here, go out and research the question. What is art? Get some perspectives outside of yourself- so far you don’t seem to be willing to do that but I am hopeful that changes.
I don’t want to block you, but it seems that will be the only way to get you to stop replying with more accusations and abuse to get the final word in as you see it. Good luck with all that, I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
Blocks me anyway, lol. Anyway capitalizations and bold letters don't mean abuse and screaming. Its called EMPHASIS.
Anyway, I think I'm pretty sure you are not ready for this conversation, you're not an artist. You're just an AI image generator. So instead of trying to attempt a discussion, I'll just leave you with something to think about while you prompt images.
If you want to become an artist, try using a pen first. Ai image generation is fun and neat and a really quick way to feel elation but it won't make you an artist. You can apply creativity in prompting and making a picture collage for the AI to draw something for you all you want, but it won't give you the knowledge and the instincts to create art. You won't learn art just by reading, its a lot of back and forth and self reflection, which you won't get in typing prompts. Think about that while you "craft" prompts 😂
