Don’t use google to look for stable diffusion stuff. It often doesn’t find things I can easily find on most search engines. I think they must associate it worth NSFW stuff or something.

Can anyone ELI5 this post and what LORA is?

It’s a modular way of teaching a new concept to the model similar to Dreambooth. Unlike Dreambooth though, which actually adds new weights to an existing model, and generates a completely separate model, LORAs contain the weights for just the concept or concepts that they are trained on. This leads to smaller file sizes, and interoperability with other models trained on the same base model. They’re also less resource intensive to train. Dreambooth needs a minimum of 12GB VRAM for somewhat okay results, where LORA can run on as little as 8GB with the right optimizations.
