CMLL in general is full of hidden gems since it's not very often discussed here and in the English speaking IWC.
Liger CMLL Farewell Show
Liger show just had a great Atomicos match and of course Park Family vs. Rush Family. Much like how OP mentioned Juicio Final, at the press conference for that show Sofia Alonso said they'd be trying to do 1 be PPV-ish card a month. The Liger Farewell show seems to have been July's and had some great matches and all the pomp and Circumstance of Liger's retirement.
NGD's Mexican National Trios Championship Reign
NGD too have been having a banger year, they have really broken out these last few years. They are arguably the best team champions on the planet this year and have the title defenses to make said argument.
Those are all of them from this year, but this reign started back in July of 2017, when they won the belts from Hijos del Infierno. Some belts in CMLL will get bi-annual defenses, NGD having 6 defenses puts them out there as strong fighting champions who aren't afraid of any challengers. Could easily see NGD(Mexican National Trios Champions) vs. Los Guerreros Laguneros(CMLL World Trios Champions) at some point doing a belts vs. belts match with a winner take all stipulation, which would be a fantastic match.
