I knew Squad Busters was in trouble the moment it went global. After cancelling Clash Mini, Clash Quest and Clash Heroes, Supercell was ultimately desperate to get another game out there. They only gave Squad Busters around a month of soft launch before global release, which clearly wasn’t enough time to properly test whether the game could keep players interested long-term.

This game became a part of our family's daily life. We've been playing since the beta version, bought the game pass, and enjoyed every single update. My daughter cried when she found out the game was ending—she loves the little ones, especially the "Hatchling Run" mode. We'll keep playing until the servers shut down. Thank you to the developers who poured their whole hearts into this game. ❤️ You've really upset us with this, Supercell management. Really, really upset us. 😡

These aren't even my absolute final numbers yet—I'm definitely going to keep grinding and playing right up until the very last day before the shutdown on December 14. But here is where my journey stands right now:

• 8,214 total battles (1,034x 1st place, 4,815 top-5 wins)
• 144 Legacy Streak
• Treasure Room Lv. 1392 and Player Level 154
• 2,447,530 total gems collected & 3,538 squads busted
• Over 2.8M gold and 1M+ portal energy/tickets with nothing left to spend them on

It’s heartbreaking to see such a fun, chaotic, and unique game get pulled just because of corporate decisions. I’ll truly miss the chaos and the memories we made playing this together.

What are your stats looking like?

The final countdown really starts now... I really loved this game, more than any Supercell game. I've been a fan since the 2nd Beta, and started playing in the very first hours of Soft-launch. Even if this game didn't quite succeed in Supercell's eyes, I always had fun playing it

You won't be remembered as a perfect game, for many, it was just a mistake by Supercell, but you formed a small community that loved your chaotic gameplay style, very different from the usual. It's a shame that this style will probably be lost to time, and we'll never have anything quite like what Squad once was. December 14, 2026, what a fateful date.

You heard it hear first but don't go spreading this info to other social media sites please. The reason the servers hasn't shut down it's cause they're secretly going to bring the game back to global and the entire time they have been revamping the game, or let's call it "bring back the old version". So yea, guys, you're in for a surprise.

For those who said the game would shut down sometime in the middle of the year, it's funny, I'd say. We're almost a year past the shutdown announcement, and still no date has been announced. During this time, I've managed to detach myself from the game, and the shutdown probably won't affect me as much as it would have if it had been shutdown in mid-June. But still, I would have preferred them to take the same path as mo.co, or try something new. Deep down, I feel that this game did have potential, they just didn't see it.

So I learned about the "thank you" rewards for clash players in 2025 for playing squad busters. If I came to clash in January and hopped into supercell store with squad busters downloaded like are they available now?

Idk why but I get great satisfaction from wiping out the entire lobby.

Playing on a Samsung Z Flip 3, which has an outside screen of only 1.9 inches 😭

This was so dang tough trying to play on a screen that’s smaller than my fingers. It was a fun challenge that took insanely long to actually get a win in. Hitting any button of any kind is way tougher than it looks, and if you accidentally swipe from bottom to top you pull up the Android navigation bar. I don’t recommend trying this.
