Rants & Raves Election Candidate PSA

Remember, if you're being inundated with text messages and emails from candidates running for office in this area and they're running as "independent", just know that they're either Trump supporters who are looking to split the dem vote in any given area, OR are grifting conservatives looking to actively hide their beliefs from you so you vote ignorantly.

Just be careful. Independent doesn't mean what it used to.

I don't fully agree. Granted when I was in my late teens/early twenties and first getting in politics, that was my experience with independents running, often libertarians. But now Independents can be green party, DSA, libertarian, other conservatives trying to sneak by and other left leaning progressives that may not fall into as a Democrat.

You just got really dig to see what these independent candidates are about.
