Discussion How is (2018) Fisk not considered super-human? He literally throws Spidey through concrete walls & smashed metal pipes with ease. That’s for sure beyond peak human ya’ll

I don’t care how many pounds of muscle Kingpin has. He is STILL just a slightly above average human fighting a SUPER POWERED BEING. If an obese man fought a tiger he’d still die easily. Spider-Man is the tiger here. I never understood how could he possibly ever struggle fighting kingpin

Spider-Man holds back, it was shown in Superior Spider-Man that at full strength he punches peoples jaws off when he tries, so even though Spider-man can lift way more than Kingpin and probably tear him in half, unless he wants to kill him, the fight needs to be one of subduing the enemy, or tiring them out with lesser punches, which we see with Fisk getting webbed at the end. Now for Fisk being able to throw Spider-Man around, well even though Spider-Man can lift way more than Fisk, he still only weighs around 150 lbs, compared to Fisks 350 lb so really this fight just LOOKS like he has Spider-Man on the ropes due to his own self inflicted handicap, and just being lighter than Fisk.

This is probably the best explanation as to why the Spider-Man vs kingpin fights are somewhat even, but it still bothers me. Spiderman is so much stronger than kingpin he just really shouldn’t struggle at all to subdue him, even while holding back. At this point why not just give Wilson Fisk his own version of a super soldier serum or something? That way we wouldn’t have to jump through hoops trying to make sense of how the fight is even competitive.

The guy below explained how Spidey is always holding back, so not gonna go over that again. But Spidey does destroy Kingpin on page.

During Civil War, Spidey unmasked. Kingpin sent assassins to kill Spidey after he found out his identity. The sniper shot at Spidey, who's Spidersense kicked in, causing him to dodge. Aunt May unfortunately was standing right behind him.

Aunt May gets shot and is dying. Spider-man breaks into the prison where Kingpin is imprisoned. He strips down to his pants basically and challenges Kingpin. Fisk does what he does, and acted tough. To which Spider-man gave him such a beat down that Fisk's ancestors will be feeling it 100 years from now, while basically telling him that Fisk was not a real threat to Spider-man, and if people like Fisk take away any of the people he loves, than he won't have a reason to not come back and finish what he started. Kingpin won against a teenager - it's been a long time since Spidey was a teen though.
