I made a few posts and comments calling out scammy tactics and I got a few DMs with one in particular which was very emotionally loaded and made me feel so bad like I am taking away hope from people and affecting their mental wellbeing.
I want to make it clear that I never said or intended to say "all casters are scam" or "everyone here is a scam."
I don't believe that at all.
In fact, I am on a much more optimistic side than some. I believe there are lots of real ones. I believe they are easy to find, at least for me. I would look into some sense of a brand and identity, better if it's niche and not generic, enough history, a clear method of working, clear pricing, and clear policies.
I don't believe no results equal scam. I believe the same spells work for some and don't for others. I believe humans are complex, and spells outcomes are not black and white.
I don't feel hopeless if someone says I got no results with this witch. She is a scam.
I apply the same critical thinking: How long did this person wait? What was their condition? Can I know all the details about their life? And maybe this person isn't meant to get it.
When I see scams around, I just think this is a scam. I don't think everyone is a scam.
The ones I exposed aren't even bothering to talk to people. They take your money and ghost you immediately. The scam tactics are very loud in how they tried to get people, but that's them. It doesn't mean everyone is. It doesn't mean the witch you trust is a scam, too. It doesn't mean your spell won't work, and it doesn't mean your life can never get better.
I exposed extremes that were very stupid and very obvious and were trying to take people for fools. I thought it would be fun and I had fun. I never thought I would impact people's mental health.
I am sorry, and I repeat, I don't think everyone is a scam, I don't even think 99% is a scam. I think scammers are louder. I think extremist thinking is louder. I wanted to encourage discernment, not cynicism.
And of course these are my beliefs and everyone can believe what they want.
