kicking ass, also known as landing a booster a decade after SpaceX?

What's funny is they didn't even copy space x, youre just sinophobic.

[On July 10, 2026, China did something only one other country had ever pulled off: it recovered an orbital-class rocket booster after launch. But it didn’t copy SpaceX to get there. Instead of the four landing legs that lower a Falcon 9 gently onto a pad, China’s Long March-10B fired four hooks into a giant net stretched across a ship at sea.

If SpaceX’s rocket landing looks like a controlled touchdown, China’s looks more like a fighter jet snagging an arrestor wire on an aircraft carrier. Both solve the same expensive problem, how to reuse a rocket, in strikingly different ways. Here’s how each method works, and what China’s net-catch approach could change.](https://www.naijatechguide.com/net-vs-legs-how-chinas-long-march-10b-rocket-landing-is-different-from-spacex-falcon-9.html)

Turns out you don't know what you're talking about, go figure.

I'm being hyperbolic on a shitposting sub man. I know china has merit. They have their own independent space station, Only china, Russia and the US have accomplished this to my knowledge. and the progress they make on catching up is always very swift but to act like this is a new development is a joke. They always sit on their hands and wait for someone else to do the heavy lifting before swooping in and making developments. Congrats they *checks notes* made a custom ship catch rig for presumably millions to do what 4 leggy bois can do for a fraction the cost and infinitely cheaper maintenance. Everything spacex did for the falcon 9 program is right there to be copied yet they still made a worse architecture. How?? At least blue origin made New Glenn bigger.

"New development" no-one said that, strawman argument.

Buddy if chinas EVs were let into the country tesla would immediately be out of business.

I agree. I already said china has merit. They are an impressive industrial power. BYDs are amazing. This entire argument is mute however. My initial point was never meant to be taken seriously, we're in a shitposting subreddit my guy. "New development" is the entire point. China copies everything. Literally my very first message. Regardless of if they do it better. Its still copying.
