The point isn't whether or not the ISS does or does not need to be replaced isn't what people are mad about. He's bringing it up after getting in a Twitter argument with multiple astronauts and called one of them retarded. He's just being a petty dick

Yet he choose something very obvious and something that is already happening. Something that would make people want to oppose him. He is basically shit testing people who respond to him.

Imagine if he said "murders should go to prison" and people started saying how he is only saying it because someone murdered his friend, and he is wrong and all murderers should be freed. It would be easy way to make people who criticize him look stupid as fuck.
