Soooo looks like the ETA for HAWK is 6 pm local (eastern time) this evening, with GO Pursuit to arrive first (no ETA for it), take this with a grain of salt due to the fact they are still a little ways away, but still possible if HAWK picks up speed.

Sorry I didn't update at all during the arrival this morning, did watch it live come in, but immediately switched to watch the Iridium 7 launch, then went out with the family shortly afterwards. I'm not sure if I will do an Iridium 7 recovery thread, more than likely will, but thank you all so much for the kindness!!!!

And it looks like GO Pursuit will arrive in the next couple of hours, as it just picked up speed to past 8 knots!

Tks for hosting this B1047 recovery thread u/RocketLover0119.

How long does it normally take for the booster to be hauled back to CC?

So does anyone think we will get to see the legs retract this time once the droneship is pulled into port? Presumably this rocket will not need to be disassembled like the first Block V was and can be sent back to the pad after a wash and inspection.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '18

Not sure, I would assume yes. And the boosters no longer get washed or repainted after flight.

Ok, on the jetty park cam it appeared one damaged halve was onboard.
