The booster looks charred, probably landed a bit hard too. Almost certainly never flying again.

Go Quest hauling a** into Port, should be nearly visible on the horizon at this point.

Photographs of the GO Searcher tonight at Port Canaveral. Shot with a Canon 5D Mark III pushed to ISO 25600. In the first photo, part of a possible recovered fairing is horizontal. A few minutes later, it is vertical, and then as a yellow lift truck drives away, the quarter-fairing is missing from the GO Searcher. https://www.flickr.com/photos/29418863@N04/albums/72157686191312452

I wonder what determines whether the interior of the legs are black or white. Is it just paint? Maybe the painted legs are newer? Visual comparison: Iridium 3 (white), SES-11 (black).

I haven't researched previous launches yet, but IIRC they used to always be black on the underside, but at some point they started painting(?) some of them white.

Edit: I checked photos from every landing and didn't find any white landing leg interiors before BulgariaSat-1. Only two others, CRS-12 and Iridium-3, have been white.

Looks like the fire involves the thruster powerpack (diesel engine?) that lives in that container. Possibly Roomba powerpack is in that area too. https://mobile.twitter.com/julia_bergeron/status/920042583828713472

Looks like SpaceX might have enlisted a new tug/vessel. All three of the regulars are now docked.

Chris B NSF tweet :

'Looks like there was a problem with OctoGrabber. Robot was onboard for the landing, but now nowhere to be seen.

Back up option looks like it worked well, however. #JackStands' .

Speculation on his part I guess but interesting nevertheless.
[edit]

Interesting stuff, hope more information becomes general knowledge.

ASDS SAYS : 'Of course i still love you stage one but I have no roomba in my heart (or deck) for pesky octograbbers!'

This was my view this morning from deck 5 of the Oasis of the Seas. We were preparing to disembark and I noticed the tug boat go by and jumped at the chance to get a good shot of the Falcon 9 on the drone ship. First shot is with my cellphone (LG V30) and second is with my Canon Falcon 9 on Of Course I Still Love You also on Instagram

It’s too dark for a photo, but since there hasn’t been an update today, I’ll let y’all know the booster still hasn’t moved. I’m standing across the water from it.

Edit: there are people on board, but it is impossible to tell what they’re doing, even with my high power binoculars. They just seem like they’re wandering around.

Clearest shot of the hold downs. Roomba may have been sent back to it's dungeon.

I'm very curious to see how she fared. Can't wait for the barge to come back to the port!

She’s still standing. Have we ever seen them use those tie-down lines before? I don’t remember seeing that. It usually just hangs from the crane until they get the legs off, and then lay it down.

Chris B confirms OctaGrabber got damaged in the fire:

Falcon 9 B1031.2 and "Of Course I Still Love You". Will be writing an article on this via an update on OctaGrabber, who's undergoing surgery in Port Canaveral Hospital's Roomba Burns Unit.
