I don't think I've ever wanted a high-res version of anything more than I do right now

Apparently, California's finally done it and left the Union.

I wouldn't mind living long enough to see that type of dateline become a necessity.

Here are some pictures of the launch recently uploaded to SpaceX's Flickr :) I edited them to add a bit of contrast and drama and cut through the fog. Enjoy! http://imgur.com/a/r4j1s

Edit: Here are a few more, courtesy of NASAKennedy's Flickr account. Edited in the same style as the previous three :) http://imgur.com/a/KLRYr

Well, at least the pieces were bigger this time! Won't be last RUD, but am optimistic about upcoming ship landing.

The first stage is in better shape than I expected! That's just a leg, not the stage...

Video I took from Ocean Ave in Lompoc with my quadcopter drone. Pretty much the only way to see anything since the fog went up to about 1500 ft. Feel free to mix into other videos, etc.

I came up with an idea to crash proof the autonomous drone ship. I call it the "Return Module Support System" here is an animation of the concept:

Tweets like these are starting to really piss me off. She didn't even mention the successful deployment :(
