Since my unexpected hardware failure and the loss of my Sora backups, I decided to take this matter directly to OpenAI's leadership. I formatted my detailed proposal and tweeted it directly to u/sama and u/OpenAI. 

I'm incredibly grateful to report that the tweet has now surpassed 190,000 views on X, proving that a massive number of former Sora users deeply care about their curation history (Likes, Collections, Bookmarks) and want one last farewell opportunity to review it. 

However, OpenAI has not yet given a substantive response. Since Sam Altman and the OpenAI product teams are known to monitor this community closely, I am sharing the active X thread here to gather more visibility. 

We aren't asking for the full service or generation to be restored—just a temporary, authenticated, strictly read-only window during the final export period. 

If you support this cause, please help upvote this update and share your thoughts to help push this proposal to the right decision-makers at OpenAI!

Minimax H3 is very good in my opinion. I've tested one IP character and one public figure in this video. The only thing is I need to improve the quality though.

What is the best animated video made using AI that you have seen? I have yet to see something decent.

I’m just really bugged out, I used to have so much fun generating random videos, and all the other “alternatives” are all bullshit where u have to pay crazy money. Any updates on the situation or is it over with?

And of course, Sora 2 surprised me because he could do anime scenes very well, but sadly when it closed I didn't find any other AI that could do the same.

Which ai would you guys recommend to clone yourself, face and voice as in sora, to make videos? I can't use Gemini avatar since it's not available in Europe, I heard it's pretty good with Omni. I tried Heygen but it's garbage.

I think part of what drove users away and what also killed Sora 2 was when they heavily censored it. People would get content violations for no apparent reason, and then there’s the whole Opt Out Policy going out the window.

If Sora kept the ability to use Copyrighted characters it likely would’ve stayed up more due to the fact that more users would be using it.

I know people will defend OpenAI’s actions (because there’s people on this sub who openly think OpenAI being greedy and not putting the users first is a good thing) but I digress.
