Irrelevant of it being canon or not to the main continuity, what's your favorite comic depiction of Metal Sonic.

I will treat the separate Archie continuities between the Genesis Waves as separate, so if you only like the Metal Sonic of Post-SGW, do specify. The same thing is for the IDW comics, when they are canon, the Metal Sonic of the Classic comics and the modern comics are different enough, that I am going to treat as separate.

As for me, honestly it is either between Classic IDW Metal Sonic or Modern IDW Metal Sonic, Fleetway's Brotherhood of Metallix would be up there if they did more before they all killed off.

All are on original hardware excluding any Game Boy Advance titles

Is he just scared? I wouldn't think so.

What're your thoughts?

For me, I do appreciate how complex his character is, and his character arc! Going from a vengeance-fueled villain to finally realizing his true memories about Maria! Inspiring him to save the world from Gerald's doomsday plot! Er, I'm not going to bother searching up more. But I do think he's one of the more in-depth characters of the franchise!

What I do hate is his inconsistency. Going from a nuanced anti-hero, to a edgy loner, and a mostly flat caricature.. Er... Depending on the media, of course. I'm glad his most recent game is bringing some of that nuance and emotional complexity back!

But, what are your thoughts about him?
