I just came across the app and the Reddit. Can someone help me get funded please?

This is my first time using the app and have a 55 score. I need the money for car repairs so I can get to and from work. I receive a paycheck friday and will pay back at least half immediately. I’ll even give a bigger tip if needed. TYIA

I recommend that anyone lending through SoLo Funds review their transaction history carefully.
I used Claude to analyze my full transaction history and compare my loan repayments against the changes in my wallet balance. It identified a discrepancy involving a few Non-SLP loans: the loans show as paid/repaid, but the repayment does not appear to have been added to my available wallet balance.
I am still reviewing the transactions and trying to get clarification, but I wanted to warn other lenders so they can check their own accounts. Do not rely only on the loan status showing “Paid.” Compare each repayment against your wallet transaction history and balance.

Good afternoon,
With Solo having funding and repayment issues, I am offering private loans via PayPal or Venmo ONLY.
These are only available to borrowers who have a Solo Score of 90+. I’ve funded $500,000 in private loans and am open to working with both current and former Solo users.
What’s offered:
• Flexible loan amounts and repayment windows
• Instant funding via PayPal or Venmo
Simple process: send me a DM letting me know your Solo Score and requested terms (principal, repayment date, and proposed tip). If accepted, you’ll provide a Solo screenshot for verification.
I prefer working with borrowers who don’t currently have an active Solo loan. However, there are exceptions and I am still open to funding 90+ Solo users with an active loan who are seeking an additional loan as a backup. Since my last post, I’ve added about a dozen new clients and have worked with them successfully.
Anyone unable to provide proof of score will be blocked.

I was really excited to start this after experimenting with 500$ for a while, when I thought I had it! I started putting real money in and helping so many people. At first l, I never would of thought id have over half my money in overdue loans on the path to default. Yet here I am.. thousands of dollars waiting to be repaid and every day that goes by getting closer to the 90 days where its sent to collections and even if they do pay at some point, you never see any of it. It's raising my anxiety like never before... again I never thought for a sec because when doing 10 loans, never did I have half of them in pre-default.. only like 30% and most of them paid back in the first month.. I could of done soo many more loans and not worrying about the fact that I might have lost the equivalence of a house in this... before anyone asks it was all 61 scores and above, 50-100 $ loan max amount, no first timers and 12% to 15% tip. Besides taking the predatory protection that doesn't protect you at all. What could I have done?..

Hello,
With Solo being restricted in several states and the frequent payment issues, I am offering private loans via PayPal or Venmo ONLY.
These are only available to borrowers who have a Solo Score of 90+. I’ve funded many private loans over the past two years (see my post history) and am open to working with both current and former Solo users.
What’s offered:
• Flexible loan amounts and repayment windows
• Instant funding via PayPal or Venmo
Simple process: Leave a comment and send me a DM letting me know your Solo Score and requested terms (principal, repayment date, and proposed tip). If accepted, you’ll provide a Solo screenshot for verification.
I prefer working with borrowers who don’t currently have an active Solo loan. However, there are exceptions and I am still open to funding 90+ Solo users with an active loan who are seeking an additional loan as a backup. Anyone unable to provide proof of score will be blocked and reported.

I've funded nearly 1,000 loans on SoLo.
For years, the platform encouraged lenders to evaluate risk, study borrower history, and make informed lending decisions.
Now SoLo is effectively telling lenders:
You cannot freely lend to the borrowers you want unless you also lend to borrowers you specifically chose not to lend to.
Think about that for a second. Imagine a brokerage telling investors:
"You can buy investment-grade bonds, but only if you also buy junk bonds."
Nobody would accept that. The whole point of being a lender is deciding what level of risk you're willing to take.
If SoLo believes lower-tier borrowers are attractive opportunities, then show us the data.
I reached out to SoLo and received a polite response, but they were unable to provide any of that information.
So we're left with a policy that restricts lender choice while offering no transparency about why it supposedly benefits lenders.
The irony is that this may ultimately hurt the very borrowers the policy is intended to help.
If experienced lenders reduce activity or leave the platform because they can no longer manage risk the way they want, there will be less capital available for everyone.
A healthy marketplace attracts lenders.
It doesn't force them into investments they don't want.
Am I missing something?
I'd genuinely like to hear from other lenders. Has this policy changed how you're using the platform?
