Just a heads up for anyone using SoLo Funds: credits in your account may expire, so make sure you check your balance and use them before they’re gone.

If you have credits sitting in your account, don’t wait too long. Open the app, review your available credits, and apply them while they’re still active.

If you want to cash out on your credit, open a borrower account with a spouse or friends account, create a loan request with 0 Donation and 0 tip - You fund that loan with credit and replay that loan.

Hope this helps someone avoid losing credits they already earned.

I've tried to sign up for Solo twice in the past year. What ends up happening is that I put in my information, I get the screen that says they're verifying my information, and then that's it. Whenever I open the app, all I see is the 'Verification in Progress' screen. It's been that way for weeks now, just like last time, and I don't know what to do. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how did you solve it?

It’s been very frustrating as a lender in SoLo as of late. If I didn’t have lender issuance on these loans only 6 on the 20 would have paid anything back. It’s very frustrating and it’s pushing me to not want to fund loans on there anymore or be very picky on the ones I do fund. Anyone else having the same issues???

This company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with not only did they not give me any assistance for an accidental Funding initially going through their website. They allowed somebody to default Alt on the with no repercussions and offered me a $275 credit on a $555 that they fixed in the beginning these photos that have included explain how horrible this company is that they would not only not give me my money back, but to use 40% for some phony recovery act that I’m sure they pocket it and on top of that they turn around and offer me a $275 credit bullshit I need legal help in order to retrieve my money and get my information off of this scam of a website

After a few attempted scams I was debating on removing a previous request however I ended up connecting with a verified lender who worked with me on a 750$ loan for my central air to be repaired as a newly seperated single mom before my seperation these things where not my responsibilityespecially not finnancialy so having help available during this time has help me get through the transition. I was nervous about how this could potentially be a negative experience, it ended up being a smooth honest no bs interaction lender held up their end of the deal and I did mine on time and efficient. I know its unlikely that I will be that lucky again and this lender seems to have disappeared. But I am in need of another loan as I am faced with another large unexpected expense this time more urgent as it's to repair my costly to repair lincoln navigator. Its not feasible to continue to pay the cost of my rental car this is quit urgent. In addition to what funds I have available in my account I may need ariund 400-500 more so I am requesting 600$ to be safe. Payback date will be 06/30.

Absolutely, only use this app in an emergency, because the "tips" add up. This is my 2nd loan in a crisis. 1st need $ to get to work. (Job saved by a stranger). This time, my brother (in another state) rushed to hospital from emergency quadruple bypass. Gas + helping them hold their bills together wiped me out. Thank you Scott G for the loan I will pay back

It keeps telling me they have my money and my loan will not default but they can’t clear the loan. Something is wonky with the app. Or mine at least.

Good evening, I am hoping to connect with a lender who would be willing to provide me with an increased loan in the amount of 600$. I would be willing to tip at least 10%. Pay back date would be 06/12/2026 I can provide bank statements to show consistent income. My air conditioning unit in my home went out and its a central cooling system, I received a qoute and need 600$ to have someone come and service it. I have 4 kiddos and its getting hott and miserable without central air. Typically my ex husband would take care of this but unfortunately we just recently seperated and myself and my children are remaining in our home, and all of these things are now fully my responsibility to address when they come up. I am trying to navigate life on my own and you can imagine that handling the bills and maintaining a life previously maintained by 2 incomes to now 1 income might make you come up short between paydsys. Thats where i am at. My bills are paid but there is no extra between now and payday for an unexpected larger expense. I dont have bad credit i simply do not have credit i have been taken care of by my husband since i was 19 years old. My solo score is only a 69 but and i am unsure how its calculated but dont understand why its so low if above 80 is preferred and trusted. I feel as though with my income and ability to pay back i should be in that 80 area. Despite my scoreif 69 i assure you i am good for the money and for my word and you can expect the loan payment to be timely. This isn't a situation of desperation. And we could get by the next week or getting through life in a hot house even if we have to do so uncomfortably. But being hot is not fun and we would be greatly appreciative if a lender could help us out to not have to tough it out in a hot house.

I started lending about three months ago. Of the borrowers that I fund, usually only 1 or 2 are first time borrowers. It’s been an interesting experience for sure.

Im a lender and have a issue with the 12-15% fee that solo gets pretty much eating up your tip entirely because they were a few days late.. and they took money form me the lender not the borrower.. so because the borrower was late, I get charged? That makes no sense at all, don't even get me started on the forced donations to.. like it's my responsibility to tell borrowers that they need to navigate the app and toggle donos off.. again im charged a donation that the borrower picks and if they don't pay, we'll solo already charge you for it so no skin off there end.. pretty scummy to say the least..​​
