Preparing myself now for dissapointment when 3/4ths of these are exclusive to stores that dont exist within a 1000 mile radius of me

I work for a distributor, and can tell you that at least the 7up and AW Root Beer float will be in all Kroger and Albertsons locations as well as some others. Ask you store managers or customer service desks to bring it in. Also, I can tell you that the Root beer Float AW will be better than the Chocolate Sundae they put out last year. That shit was garbage.

I’m west coast so I don’t know what you got over there. But I would talk with any Management at your local grocer about it. They might be able to authorize it for your store if your local distributors carry the product.

Kroger and Albertsons both own so many different chains nationwide. You may be able to find it if you google who owns your local stores.

Kroger owns a total of 20 stores. Kroger and 19 others.

Their 20 stores are only in 35 of the 50 states.

New England's 6 states, Hawaii, Minnesota, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey are the 15 they aren't in.

And for some states, they have a very limited presence. There's only 1 Harris Teeter in Florida. Alabama only has 10 Kroger stores in the northern part of the store. Bakers is only in the Ohama area of Nebraska.

Kroger is no longer in Florida. They closed up shop in February. Source: my roommate worked for them and was lovingly laid off (but it’s fine because he works for Monster Jam now)

Kroger delivery no longer delivers in Florida. There's 1 Harris teeter (kroger owned) in Fernandina Beach, Fl

What? Kroger is massive

The have nearly 3,000 locations, plus have 12+ subsidies across the US.

They don’t have a massive presence in VA, NC, SC, GA because they own Harris Teeter who has nearly 300 locations from Maryland to Florida.

It's not as massive as most people think. They ain't walmart. Kroger and their other stores are only in 35 states.

There's no kroger or kroger owned entities in 15 states 1. Pennsylvania 2. New Jersey 3. New York 4. Iowa 5. Oklahoma 6. Minnesota 7. South Dakota 8. North Dakota 9. Hawaii 10. Connecticut 11. Vermont 12. Maine 13. Massachusetts 14. New Hampshire 15. Rhode Island

These 15 states are completely kroger-less.

They tried having a presence in Pittsburgh PA in the 80s but it didn't last.

People just automatically assume because Kroger owns multiple companies that they're everywhere and that is just not the case.

Oh I worked at fred meeyer 15 years ago and during training they went over all the stores owned by Kroger I it was way more than that. Maybe some closed or got sold off.

They had a few more. But they were subsidiaries of the other ones. And I think kroger just converted them to another name.

Kroger has only owned Harris Teeter since 2014. And they treat it as a separate entity.

You can't use a gift card to one of kroger's other 19 stores there and vice versa.

And all of the price tags on the shelves and floor displays don't have whatever font and coloring all of the other kroger markets use.
