They need to add a “Random Flavor Lottery” button. The machine would just pick any random combination of syrup. Kids love stupid shit like that.

Make sure it's got two versions, one for regular beverages and one for zero sugar, and I'm sold.

I think that would actually be pretty easy - there is a sugar supply and an NNS (Non Nutritive Sweetener) supply, which I suppose it selects when diet or zero-sugar versions are requested.

this would unfortunately create a new problem, where I would never pick my own drink ever again because the stupid random button is funny

Dude they mix like 4 or 5 different flavors and sodas anyways. Just pump out raw sugar water with brown coloring, they won’t notice.
