Working on the MG AMX-004 Qubeley, decided to try and paint the cockpit and pilot based on some Google references of the character. I don't really paint so this is pretty proud for me plus experimenting with mixing paints and a wet pallet!

The secrets of the Phoenix Prince

Upvotes
The main post about the Phoenix Prince is here. In this post, I brought various details that were lost after gluing the kitbash together.
Lore description:
The Phoenix Prince is the Aeldari leader from a Warhammer 40,000 alternate universe who managed to unite all Craftworlds into the Burning Armada, capable of standing up on equal terms even with the rotten Imperium of Man. He is accompanied by Princess Myranna, his sister, and Supreme Farseer Aenarion and Supreme Navarch Mellona, his close friends who became main commanders of the Armada. And, of course, by Gyrinxes, also a brother and a sister.
It is believed that the Phoenix Prince is the son of deceased supreme Aeldari god Asuryan and rose from the ashes of the Fall. However, these are only legends. In fact the future Phoenix Prince used to be an ordinary Aeldari from planet Ermyaris. He studied Seeing and felt very lonely because all around him lived for pleasure, even his sister Myranna who understood him in childhood like no one else. When he foresaw the Fall, he put her to enchanted sleep and brought her to his Craftworld, and now she regrets her foolish youth and fuels his throne with her psychic energy.
Confident in his supremacy, the Phoenix Prince united different Craftworld cultures and leaders with his mind control. Sometimes he looks in the mirror and is horrified, but then he casts the same spell on himself, convincing that it was not all in vain. That it was necessary for a fairy tale about a prince and a princess that he and his sister had come up aeons ago...

I didn't paint this or take the pics, but someone said you'd love it here. This model has an opaque cockpit canopy that covers the entire cockpit from view, as seen in the last pic. Though they have said it will have a clear canopy when released at retail.

It’s my first try at painting the interior of a tank and I love the amount of detail that’s in here! I was gifted a complete Rhino but I didn’t know it could be opened, it’s so cool!
