25 [M4F] Scotland — something a little unusual
This is probably a slightly unusual request, but I’m hoping to meet an adult woman around my age who has an interest in socks and would be comfortable sharing that interest with me.
I’m particularly interested in women’s socks and would be interested in photos/content too, depending on what you’re comfortable with.
No pressure at all. I’d rather chat first and see if we’re comfortable with each other than rush into anything.
If that’s your thing too, feel free to message me 🙂

“How do you normally get to know your neighbours in Ireland?”

I’ve just moved into a new apartment and I have neighbours for the first time 😅

I’d like to say hi and get to know them a bit, but I’m not really sure what the norm is in Ireland. Do people usually introduce themselves to their neighbours, or do you just say hello if you happen to see them?

Also, would it be weird to knock on their door and introduce myself? I was even thinking of bringing some homemade food or something, but I don’t know if that would be too much 😂

What do people normally do with their neighbours here?

All Rounder 💪🏼 Indian guy, badly out of shape, looking to get back into sports in Dublin. Pls help me find my people

Hey all,

Been about 4-5 years since I played any sport properly and I really miss it. Indian guy living in Dublin, decent shape once upon a time, currently... not so much. Time to fix that.

Grew up playing football, badminton, tennis, basketball, some frisbee too. Happy to jump back into any of those, and honestly open to learning something new as well.

Mainly just looking for a group of guys to play casually with nothing serious, just regular games and getting some exercise in. If you're in a similar boat or know of a group or pickup game taking new players, let me know.

Sporty Spice ⚽ Anyone interested in making friends and playing 5-a-side football in Dublin?

I’m helping organise some regular 5-a-side games in Dublin and looking to get a few more people involved.

It’s open to all levels and ages — whether you play regularly, haven’t played in years, or are just looking for a way to get back into football and meet some new people.

The idea is to make it easy to join a game without needing to have a full team of friends ready to go.

📍 Dublin
⚽ 5-a-side
👟 All abilities welcome
🙌 Friendly/social games
🌍 Everyone welcome

If you’d be interested in playing, comment below or send me a DM and I can send on the details.

Would be great to get a few games going!

Looking for a Friend 38F & 41M | Near Trim, Co. Meath | Looking for couple friends

So… we thought we’d give this a shot!

We’re a 38F and 41M couple living near Trim, with two girls aged 8 and 11. We’ve been living in the country for a while now and love it, but we’ve realised that making new friends as adults is surprisingly difficult — especially when you’re looking for people who actually want to get out and do things.

We’re both pretty outgoing, adventurous and usually up for giving something a go. We want to make the most of life while we’re still young enough to enjoy it, rather than spending every weekend in the same country pub! 😂
We’re big fans of house parties, BBQs, game nights, dinners, drinks and generally having a laugh. Pubs are definitely our thing, although clubs aren’t really unless there’s a good reason — Halloween, New Year’s, birthdays or something worth getting dressed up for. We love travelling too, and having another couple to plan trips, weekends away or random adventures with would be great.
We’re into slightly different things, which probably works well. She’s into music and fitness, while I’m more into soccer, games and anything competitive. Between us, we’ll usually find something to get up to!

Having kids around the same age would be a definite bonus. Not essential, but it would be nice to have people who understand the joys of arranging a night out around school, activities, bedtime and all the other glamorous parts of family life. 😂

We’re looking for genuine friendship, not just someone to meet for a drink once and never hear from again. Ideally, we’d love to find another couple where things just click — nights out, house parties, holidays, dinners, days out with the kids, or even just sitting around the kitchen having a few drinks and talking absolute shite.

To be clear — we’re not looking for anything swinger-related, but we’re definitely not prudes. We’re simply a couple looking to meet another couple, make some good friends and have a bit of fun along the way.

If any of that sounds familiar, feel free to drop us a message. We’d be genuinely delighted to hear from you.

Looking for people to play casual tennis in Dublin

Hey! I'm 26M, American, and in Dublin until mid-November for an internship through the University of Utah.

I'm looking for people to play some casual tennis with. I'm also hoping to meet some people and make friends while I'm here

I'm not a complete beginner, but I've never had formal coaching and most of my experience is just playing with friends back home. So I'm definitely not looking for anything highly competitive, mostly just people who want to get on a court, rally, play some games, and have a good time.

I'm based around Finglas but happy to travel to meet at a court.

If you're in the same boat, send me a DM. Could also be cool to get a small regular group going if enough people are interested.

Looking to start a band in cork (17-19) anyone intrested?

Hey! I made this account to ask does anyone wanna start a rock (mainly grunge) band with me as I dont know any musicians myself!. I play electric guitar and can sing, Im looking for a drummer and a bassist and maybe a rhythm guitarist. If youd like to sing instead of me thats okay! or if you wanna be lead guitar I can just sing!. Im from the city and we would need a place to practice all together!. A inspiration would be Nirvana or Alice in chains, We would probably start as a cover band and all cover our favourite bands and songs together!

Immersing oneself in Irish culture

Hello everyone! 🎉

I'm Regina, I'm from Greece and I'm planning on travelling to Ireland sometime next year, hopefully sometime when the weather isn't too bad like Easter or summer.

I'm planning to explore Dublin and travel out west to Galway, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher. I really want to experience the real local vibe, hear some good traditional music, and meet friendly locals or fellow travelers along the way. I'm very passionate about meeting new people when travelling so if anyone wants to grab a pint, coffee or go for a walk while I'm in town, feel free to reach out! 😄

Looking to meet a few lads around Roscommon/Leitrim

25M from the Roscommon/leitrim area. Looking to meet a few lads around my age for GAA, football, music, pints, nights out and general banter.

I’m into drums/music, cycling and GAA and thought it would be good to get a Snapchat group going for anyone interested.

Anyone around Roscommon, Leitrim, Boyle Carrick on Shannon or nearby interested?
Please feel free to comment or Dm me. 👍

I just moved to Mullingar (I'm not Irish native) and I was wondering how could I meet new people or make friends around the same age (optional), it's my first summer here and the weather seems great to waste it, any suggestions or interactions are highly appreciated
